Clarkson’s Farm star inundated with support as they share ‘amazing’ update after crushing loss

Lisa Hogan shared a sweet update on the puppies born to Jeremy Clarkson’s dog Arya

Jeremy Clarkson’s partner Lisa Hogan has received an outpouring of support following her heartwarming update, coming after what has been a particularly difficult period for the Clarkson’s Farm crew.

The former Top Gear presenter, 65, disclosed only days earlier that his Oxfordshire farm, Diddly Squat, had been struck by bovine tuberculosis.

Adding to their troubles, he subsequently announced that one of the puppies born to his dog Arya had sadly died.

Lisa has now posted a more positive development regarding the pups, sharing an Instagram video of the newborns being weighed as they squirmed about and played with one another.

Whilst lifting each one up, she weighed them, making comments such as, “You’re so sweet and gentle,” reports Gloucestershire Live.

Her caption read: “Day 13 and it’s puppy weigh in day. I weigh them every 3 days, and happy to report, they are all gaining weight and wobbling around on their legs.

The Clarkson’s Farm star took a trip to see the donkey’s on TikTok

“Comparison between Mr White (biggest) and Lady Lemon (tiny) is at the end, sorry, it’s a long vid as I couldn’t cut any pups out!”

One admirer responded: “Ah so so sweet look at them.”

Someone else posted: “Gosh they are so cute!!!”

“They are all so adorable. Please look after little Lady Lemon, she is so cute,” another commented.

A supporter remarked: “Puppies are a wild ride! Incredible to watch how fast they grow and their little personalities develop. Puppy breath is the best medicine!”

“They look so lovely and lucky to have Diddly Squat to roam around,” one person echoed, while another complimented: “They look so cute your doing an amazing job, Lisa xx.”

Clarkson had announced that Arya had given birth earlier this month, revealing that while the rest of the nation were celebrating England’s Lionesses winning the Euros, the stars of Clarkson’s Farm were more preoccupied at home.

In a clip shared to Instagram, he said: “Now I know you’ve all been enjoying the football, but I’ve been rather busy if I’m honest. Because look what Arya’s done.”

He then panned the camera to reveal the adorable puppies laying beside Arya suckling and squealing.

“Yay! I mean well done Lionesses but really, really, really well done Arya.”

Lisa had earlier shared a similar video of the newborns, as she whispered “Well done” to their beloved dog.

“Well done Arya, our lioness of 11 and to all the other champion Lionesses!! Quite the Sunday victory,” she wrote in the caption.

Clarkson then revealed in the comments that he played midwife, clarifying one follower who wrote: “Well done Arya and Lisa (who I’m sure was midwife!)” He replied: “Actually, I was!”

“Is there anything Mr C can’t do?” one fan said, while another added: “You’re now a vet as well as a farmer. The list gets bigger.”

However, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? presenter later revealed that one of the pups had died amid an “awful” few days, while Lisa shared a video in which she stroked Arya, writing: “Sad news this morning. Mr Grey has gone to fur and feather land.”

“Poor Mr Grey, I’m sorry darling,” she whispered.

As well as that tragedy, the farm is now closed for some time because of bovine TB, with Clarkson announcing in a sombre update: “Bad news from Diddly Squat. We’ve gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated.”

“We’re now locked down and it’s just dreadful, absolutely dreadful,” he later added, confirming Diddly Squat will be shut for at least two months before they can do another test, though the farm shop would remain “unaffected” by the lockdown.

Clarkson’s Farm is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
