Harriet Cowan, who starred in the fourth season of Amazon Prime’s Clarkson’s Farm, has been inundated with requests for a new show after she shared a video with a special guest
The fourth series of Amazon Prime’s popular programme, Clarkson’s Farm, introduced Harriet Cowan as an experienced agricultural worker alongside former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson. She joined as a temporary stand-in for Kaleb Cooper, who was capitalising on his television fame through a nationwide tour.
Following Jeremy’s quip that he had “been left in the lurch,” viewers met the 24 year old addition, who swiftly won over audiences. Nevertheless, halfway through the series, Harriet’s assistance was no longer required when Kaleb made his comeback, leading to her departure from the programme despite becoming a cherished cast member. Yet as supporters couldn’t get their fill of her, they’ve begun following her across social media platforms, where she regularly posts glimpses of her daily routine to her 762,000 TikTok audience, continuing her agricultural career after recently starting a fresh role with the BBC.
Though she introduced some alterations in her most recent post, featuring a collaboration with a particularly noteworthy guest.
“The collab you never knew you needed! We never claimed to be co-ordinated,” she penned in the video’s description alongside a crying with laughter emoji.
The clip begins with a grey Mercedes and a tractor positioned side by side before both vehicle doors swing open.
Harriet, sporting a denim mini skirt and striped T-shirt, was spotted stepping down from the tractor. Izzy Hammond, daughter of Top Gear’s Richard Hammond, was spotted stepping out of a Mercedes, donning a similar striped top and white denim shorts.
The duo then approached each other and performed the iconic handshake from the 1998 film, The Parent Trap. They are seen clapping and shaking hands before bumping their feet together and spinning around, still clasping each other’s hands.
They then built up momentum as they leapt up and performed a chest bump, before dissolving into fits of laughter.
The brief video clip rapidly caught the attention of fans, who pleaded for the pair to feature in a Top Gear reboot.
“Next grand tour Harriet Cowan as Jeremy, Millie Stennett as May, and Izzy Hammond as Richard?” one individual commented.
They weren’t alone in this thought, as another viewer proposed: “Next gen of The Grand Tour. Who can we have as May?”
“Yes let’s gooo Izzy Harriet who will be the third we need a new generation of a car show y’all know,” a third viewer chimed in.
“Amazon Prime needs to jump on a TV show with these two. With guest appearances from certain other people please,” another person suggested.
