Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper wins two global awards
Kaleb Cooper has added another major achievement to his growing list of successes after winning two international awards for his Hawkstone Cider at the prestigious World Cider Awards 2025.
The young farmer from Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, first captured the public’s attention back in 2021, when he appeared alongside Jeremy Clarkson in the debut season of the hit Amazon Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm. His quick wit, sharp tongue, and no-nonsense approach to farming life quickly made him a fan favourite, and he has since featured in every series of the show, including the fourth installment, which was released earlier this year across May and June.
Away from the cameras, Kaleb’s personal life has also been moving forward. He and his long-term partner, Taya, are already parents to two children. This weekend, the couple celebrated the arrival of their third child, marking another milestone for the 27-year-old. Yet, just days after sharing the happy family news, Kaleb had another reason to celebrate—this time connected to his blossoming career as a cider producer.
At the World Cider Awards 2025, Hawkstone Cider took home the coveted Gold medal, cementing its reputation as one of the finest ciders currently available. Meanwhile, Hawkstone Hedgerow, the company’s dark fruit variant, was also recognised with an award for Best Fruit Cider in England, further boosting the brand’s growing profile.
Overjoyed by the recognition, Kaleb took to Instagram to share the news with his fans and followers. In a celebratory post, he wrote: “My cider just won a Gold at the World Cider Awards and better still, my Hedgerow cider won the best fruit cider in England!”
Hawkstone itself has an interesting origin story. The brand was launched in 2021 by Jeremy Clarkson in partnership with the Cotswold Brew Co, initially focusing on premium lager brewed from the barley grown at Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm. The name “Hawkstone” comes from an ancient standing stone located in the Cotswolds, symbolising both strength and heritage. Since then, the brand has expanded to include a range of premium British lagers, ciders, and even vodka, appealing to a wide audience across the UK and beyond.
In just a few years, Hawkstone has gone from a niche farm-based project to one of the fastest-growing drinks brands in the country. It is now recognised as the most followed beer brand in the world on Instagram, demonstrating its enormous social media influence alongside its commercial success.
Meanwhile, fans of Clarkson’s Farm have more to look forward to, as filming for the highly anticipated fifth season is already underway. The new episodes are expected to premiere on Prime Video next year, bringing more insight into the challenges and triumphs of farming life at Diddly Squat—and no doubt featuring plenty more from Kaleb Cooper, whose journey from farmhand to television personality and award-winning cider maker shows no signs of slowing down.
