Clarkson’s Farm star Harriet Cowan makes huge career move that will change her life

Clarkson’s Farm star Harriet Cowan has opened up about a huge change she has made to her working life – and fans are eagerly awaiting the next chapter of her career

Harriet Cowan, who gained recognition after her appearance on Clarkson’s Farm, is accustomed to managing multiple responsibilities. She had previously expressed her aspirations of pursuing full-time agricultural work whilst maintaining her nursing career.

The 24-year-old was juggling extensive shifts as a nurse, before switching into her overalls and getting her hands dirty with the soil and livestock at her family’s farm. However, it appears she may have had a change of heart. Harriet has now caught the ‘bug’ for agriculture and wishes to make it her exclusive profession.

This shift is entirely due to her success on the Amazon Prime programme, which has resulted in her accumulating nearly 800,000 followers on TikTok and millions of likes across her content.

Harriet has confirmed, however, that she is “no longer nursing” after generating sufficient income to concentrate entirely on farming.

She has also verified that this will encompass a YouTube career with her channel ‘Harriet On The Farm’. Her content will feature day-in-the-life style vlogs showcasing her activities around the farm.

Fans will be excited to learn that her eagerly-awaited video is scheduled to launch on Sunday, August 31.

Harriet has decided to get into farming full-time

Despite her complete focus on transitioning to agriculture, Harriet did mention that she would still undertake some NHS shifts. Nevertheless, these wouldn’t be “daily” as she has numerous other responsibilities to balance.

Harriet remarked: “The cat’s somewhat out of the bag. It’s true, I am no longer nursing because it appears I got the bug.

“You definitely know what the bug is right, yeah I got the farming bug. And I’ve always had it, but before, you know, I didn’t really have any other income.

“The wait is over, Harriet on the farm is coming your way on the 31st of August. I’m going to do bank shifts and I’m still going to be working in the NHS, but yeah, just not daily”.

In an earlier TikTok clip, Harriet described the fame she’d gained as “insane,” explaining she couldn’t “thank people enough” for wanting to “get involved” in her journey.

She hopes to inspire other women to consider joining the agricultural industry, which is often wrongly stereotyped as a masculine profession.
