Kaleb Cooper apologies after outrageous insult at Jeremy Clarkson

Kaleb Cooper has issued an apology after taking a cheeky — and rather outrageous — swipe at his boss Jeremy Clarkson during a recent radio appearance.
The 27-year-old farmhand, who shot to fame on Clarkson’s Farm back in 2021, has become one of the most recognisable faces on the hit Prime Video series. Over the course of four seasons, viewers have watched him juggle the ups and downs of farming life in Chipping Norton, all while building his own family with partner Taya. Earlier this month, Cooper celebrated the arrival of his third child, a baby boy named Ashton, joining his growing brood alongside his two older children.
Despite his busy family life and ongoing filming for the highly anticipated fifth series of Clarkson’s Farm, Kaleb has also found time to explore new ventures. He is currently promoting his latest project — a children’s book titled Kaleb’s Farmyard Tales: Escaping Animals and Runaway Tractors. The book, inspired by his own experiences on the farm, features mischievous animals and lighthearted storytelling aimed at young readers.
While discussing the book on Heart Radio with host Jamie Theakston, Kaleb let slip a remark that immediately caused a stir. He revealed that one of the characters in the book — “the runt of the pig litter” — is called Jeremy. Naturally, the host pressed him on why he had chosen that particular name.
Caught slightly off guard, Kaleb chuckled before responding: “I don’t know really, I just thought it was a great name. It sums up, erm, you know… every Jeremy is always a little bit of a runt.”
The comment drew laughter and gasps of disbelief from the radio hosts, who were stunned by the bold jab at none other than Clarkson himself. Realising how his words might be received, Kaleb was quick to soften the blow. He laughed it off and swiftly issued an apology: “I’m sorry to any Jeremy out there — I’m sure you’re all lovely!”

The moment highlighted the unique dynamic between Kaleb and Jeremy, a relationship that has long been a fan-favourite aspect of the show. While Clarkson often plays the role of the brash, overconfident landowner, Kaleb has carved out a reputation as the sharp-tongued, no-nonsense farmhand who isn’t afraid to put his famous boss in his place.
And although his latest dig may have been made in jest, it once again proves that the banter between the two men shows no signs of slowing down — both on and off screen.
