Clarkson Admits Chaos Erupts Whenever He Steps Away from Diddly Squat Farm

Jeremy Clarkson shared the happy news

Former Top Gear presenter Jeremy Clarkson has been discussing the newest arrivals at his Diddy Squat Farm

Jeremy Clarkson admits he can’t “turn his back for a second” after a series of new arrivals at Diddly Squat Farm. Back in July Jeremy’s red-fox labrador Arya gave birth to a litter of 11 puppies.

While Jeremy previously revealed some of the pups would be going to new homes, he has kept two of the dogs at Diddly Squat. And this week he found himself alone with the eight-week-old pooches.

The former Top Gear star, 65, admits he was kept on his toes by the animals, in particular, the amount of wee and poo they leave around his home. Jeremy says he is “fascinated” that the “weight of poo” produced from the dogs “exceeds the amount of food I am giving them”.

Jeremy jokes the same goes for the dogs’ wee. He says “two sips of water” results in “15 gallons” coming out of the dogs.

It was a particular issue for the Clarkson’s Farm star while cooking his dinner. Writing in The Sun, he said: “So last night, while I was trying to cook my supper, I had to down tools every 4.2 seconds to mop up a puddle or a mini mountain.”

Jeremy joked that when the pups weren’t going to the toilet they were “eating his shoes” or “trying to pull a curtain down”. He added: “I literally can’t turn my back for a second.

“And here’s the thing. They are so adorable, I don’t want to.”

Jeremy recently shared a video of some of Arya’s puppies heading off with their new homes on Instagram. The video showed them meeting their new owners as James Blunt’s Goodbye My Love played.

Jeremy captioned the post with: “Goodbye my puppies, goodbye my friends, we have loved to (you) so much.”

Arya gave birth to 11 puppies with the couple acting as midwives while the Lionesses won the Euros final on July 27. Shortly after Jeremy suffered a heartbreak as one of the young puppies died.

Jeremy with current partner, Lisa Hogan

Although a week after their birth, Jeremy’s partner Lisa Hogan gave a further update on the litter. Sharing a clip of the new mum with her puppies, Lisa gushed: “So, we are seven days on about half of you would have been born now so maybe eight of you would have been born.

“We have 11, or 12, but one died. But Arya is being amazing. She’s coming out for walks with her sister which is good, otherwise she just wants to be with her little offspring.”

Lisa went on to explain she was handfeeding the runt of the litter. She added: “I’ve been handfeeding this one because she’s the lightest, but I’ve just weighed them all and they’ve all put on a bit of weight, and some of them have doubled.”
