Clarkson’s Farm Wraps Season 5 Filming as Jeremy Clarkson Shares Exciting News
Jeremy Clarkson has delighted fans with the announcement that filming for the fifth season of his hit Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm has officially wrapped. The news comes just months after the conclusion of season four and sets the stage for a 2026 release.
The former Top Gear host revealed the update via Instagram, posting a photo alongside girlfriend Lisa Hogan, farmhand Caleb Cooper, and drystone waller Gerald Cooper. Clarkson teased that the forthcoming episodes may be the most emotional yet, documenting how his Oxfordshire farm was struck by a bovine tuberculosis outbreak that forced a two-month lockdown.
The 1,000-acre property in the Cotswolds has been at the heart of the award-winning documentary series, which chronicles Clarkson’s often chaotic attempts to manage farm life. Having purchased the land in 2008, Clarkson only took over full management in 2019 after the farm’s previous keeper retired. Since then, the trials and triumphs of running Diddly Squat Farm have become a global streaming success.

Earlier this year, Clarkson admitted that revenue from the series is keeping the farm afloat following a disastrous harvest. Writing on X (formerly Twitter) in August, he warned that “this year’s harvest will be catastrophic,” adding that while it would make dramatic television, most farmers lack the benefit of a show to cushion financial blows.
In addition to farming, Clarkson has also expanded into hospitality with the purchase of an Oxfordshire pub, The Farmer’s Dog, which opened to the public in August.
Meanwhile, fan-favourite Caleb Cooper, whose exasperation and wit have become central to Clarkson’s Farm, is stepping into the spotlight with his own live tour. An Evening with Caleb Cooper will open at the Crewe Lyceum Theatre on January 10, 2026, promising humorous anecdotes, strong farming opinions, and plenty of surprises.
The popularity of Clarkson’s Farm has been a major success story for Prime Video. Clarkson reportedly signed a £160 million deal for three seasons in 2020, and the show has since become one of the platform’s most-watched titles. With season five now in post-production, fans can expect fresh challenges, emotional twists, and Clarkson’s trademark humor when the series returns in spring 2026.
