Kaleb Cooper touches down in Australia after leaving Clarkson’s Farm
Kaleb Cooper has officially touched down in Australia, marking the start of a brand-new adventure far from Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. The 27-year-old farming contractor and breakout star of Clarkson’s Farm first captured viewers’ hearts in 2021 with his no-nonsense attitude, hilarious one-liners, and deep-rooted passion for British agriculture. Since then, Kaleb has appeared in all four seasons of the hit Prime Video show, the most recent of which aired earlier this year between May and June.
Now, the young farmer from Chipping Norton is taking his skills to the other side of the world for his upcoming Prime Video spin-off, Kaleb: Down Under. The four-part series will follow Kaleb as he embarks on a journey through Australia, exploring some of the world’s largest and most diverse farming operations while meeting local producers, testing his skills in unfamiliar terrain, and learning how Australian farmers tackle challenges on a massive scale.
Sharing the exciting news on Instagram this morning (Thursday, October 23), Kaleb posted a series of photos marking his arrival. “I’ve made it to Australia!” he announced proudly, alongside a snapshot of the country’s famous wildlife. In another post, he joked about his first encounter with an Australian white ibis, writing: “I believe these are called bin chickens,” a nod to the bird’s cheeky local nickname.
Speaking ahead of the trip, Kaleb revealed that he was inspired to take on this new adventure after years of working alongside Jeremy Clarkson — someone he humorously describes as “the most travelled man in the world.” He explained: “I spend most of my time with the most travelled man in the world, so I got brave and booked my first-ever flight to see what all the fuss was about. Australia, here I come! And Australia, you’ll be gaining a new farmer for a couple of months as I discover if I can make my farming contracting business go international.”
The journey also comes at a special time for Kaleb, who recently welcomed his third child, a son named Ashton, with his partner Taya. Despite being half a world away from home, the young dad appears thrilled and ready to embrace his new chapter — one that could see him expand his horizons and bring a bit of Cotswolds charm to the Australian outback.
