From Farmhand to Star: Harriet Cowan Makes Big Investment Months After Rising to Fame on Clarkson’s Farm

Clarkson’s Farm star Harriet Cowan has decided to splash the cash on a new tractor just months after finding fame on the hit Prime Video show with Jeremy Clarkson

Clarkson’s Farm star Harriet Cowan has splashed out on a flashy new motor.

The 24-year-old shot to fame on the latest series of Clarkson’s Farm, when Jeremy Clarkson brought her in to help run Diddly Squat. She temporarily replaced Kaleb Cooper on the show before he returned to the Cotswolds farm.

She’s now snapped up a brand new car – a £34,000 diesel – 4×4 just months after appearing on the show. She’s bought a 2025 Maxus T60 Automatic, perfect for powering across her Derbyshire land.

The star, who has stepped away from her nursing career to focus on farming full-time, showed off her flashy new motor online. The massive Maxus truck pumps out 236 grams of CO per kilometre – making it a bit of a beast when it comes to emissions.

Under the bonnet, it’s kitted out with a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine and can hit speeds of up to 106mph, as reported by Luxury Auto News.

It also packs a roaring 212 brake horsepower and tips the scales at around 2,200kg – roughly the same as a flock of 13 sheep. Finished in sleek grey, the farm favourite will have her work cut out keeping the mud off her shiny new ride.

The plush motor also comes with a roomy cabin fitted with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto – ideal for long days on the road. Dazzling fans with her latest purchase, Harriet shared a clip of her new truck alongside the caption: “Ready for weighing lambs.”

Since joining Clarkson’s Farm in season four as Jeremy Clarkson’s right-hand woman, Harriet’s career has well and truly taken off. She’s racked up a huge social media following and launched her own company, Farmfluence, registered for “motion picture, video and television programme post-production activities”, as reported by The Sun.

She’s also been putting in the graft to grow her brand – and experts reckon she could soon be earning hundreds of thousands. Lynn Carratt told The Sun: “Harriet has around 1.2 million followers across Instagram and TikTok. If she is savvy she could rake in £500,000 in the next 12 months.”

She also landed herself a gig at BBC Radio Derbyshire, where she has been working on FarmWatch. She recently took to the airwaves to talk about Farm24, an annual event celebrating farmers across the UK.

But she recently admitted she makes virtually no money from farming alone. She told the BBC: “We cannot reiterate how important this is for us, that we don’t do this because it’s going to make us money. Because probably 90% of farms do not make money from the farm, I know I don’t.”
