Fletchers' Family Farm

Emmerdale’s Kelvin Fletcher shares exciting announcement as ITV return date confirmed

Former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher has said that watching his popular farming series on television still fills him with pride, as he confirms the programme’s return for a fourth series.

The actor, who stars alongside his wife Liz Fletcher and their four young children, has spent the past few years documenting the family’s transition to rural life on Fletchers’ Family Farm. The ITV programme, filmed at their Peak District property, has so far aired three series and has built a loyal following.

The show is now set to return later this month, with new episodes scheduled to begin this weekend.

Kelvin shared his excitement with fans earlier this week as a repeat episode aired on Monday night, 2 February. Posting on Instagram, he uploaded a short video showing himself watching the programme at home alongside his parents, joining viewers across the country as the familiar opening moments played out on ITV.

As the show’s introduction approached, Kelvin could be heard saying: “Oh, what are they going to say? Let’s have a listen!” Moments later, as the programme began, he reacted with visible enthusiasm, admitting: “Oh, it still makes me proud,” before encouraging the show on with a smile.

During the clip, he also confirmed that the next chapter of the family’s farming journey would soon be on screen. “This Sunday, series four, the brand-new series, starts at 11.30am,” he told followers.

Kelvin first rose to prominence playing Andy Sugden in ITV’s long-running soap Emmerdale, before going on to win Strictly Come Dancing. His move into farming was initially documented in Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure, which later evolved into Fletchers’ Family Farm as the focus widened to include his growing family and their life on the land.

In recent weeks, Kelvin had already hinted at the show’s return while reflecting on the past year with fans on social media. Marking the start of the New Year, he confirmed that filming for the fourth series was well under way.

“Series four incoming!” he wrote. “No need for those series three blues as we are busy filming series four – and you can watch in February 2026.”

He also thanked viewers for their continued support, acknowledging that the programme’s success had exceeded expectations. “Your support and feedback from this show has been truly overwhelming,” he said. “We never thought it would resonate, inspire and simply entertain so many people, and so profoundly.”

Kelvin added that sharing the experience with viewers had become an important part of the journey for his family. “You really are on this journey with us, and sharing every step with you is so special,” he said. “2026 – we are coming.”

Series four of Fletchers’ Family Farm airs on ITV from Sunday at 11.30am.
