Jeremy Clarkson reveals new European venture away from Cotswolds

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed a new European venture away from the Oxfordshire Cotswolds.

The former Top Gear and Grand Tour host purchased Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire back in 2008.

This proved to be the focus of his popular Prime Video show, Clarkson’s Farm, which documents his agricultural adventures in Chadlington.

In 2021, Mr Clarkson and the Cotswold Brew Co launched the Hawkstone brand, which now offers a range of premium British lagers, ciders and vodka.

Named after an ancient standing stone in the Cotswolds, the beer was originally made from the barley grown at Diddly Squat Farm.

As the fastest-growing beer brand in the UK, Hawkstone is also the most followed beer in the world on Instagram.

Now, after relentless demand from across the Channel, Hawkstone is today (Monday, February 9) expanding its footprint, bringing its award-winning beer range to thirsty customers across Europe.

From today, beer fans in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Austria, Denmark, and Finland can finally get a taste of the British countryside delivered straight to their homes.

Hawkstone’s range of premium beers is now available to order directly from the brand’s website.

Since its launch in 2021, Hawkstone has taken the UK by storm, officially recognised as the fastest-growing beer brand in Britain by the prestigious Sunday Times 100.

Just last year, the brand sold over 2.5 million pints online, building a loyal following thanks to its unwavering commitment to British farming and its “Hard to make, Easy to drink” philosophy.

Now, building on that momentum, Hawkstone is preparing to introduce its premium beer range to European customers for the very first time, a move that will continue to showcase the best of UK agriculture, utilising 100 per cent British barley.

Owen Jenkins, the Managing Director at Hawkstone, commented: “For what feels like an eternity, people across Europe have been asking when they can get their hands on Hawkstone. Well, the day has finally come.

“We’re not just exporting beer and lager; we’re exporting a piece of the British countryside, a bit of belligerence, and some bloody good lager.

“To our new European friends, I say: you’re welcome.”

Hawkstone teased the European launch on Instagram and TikTok with a video featuring Mr Clarkson flexing his linguistic muscles.

This strategic expansion marks a significant milestone for Hawkstone, fulfilling international demand and continuing its rapid growth trajectory, and it won’t be stopping there, with more exciting launches to come in 2026.

Mr Clarkson is also set to return to screens later this year with the upcoming fifth series of Clarkson’s Farm on Prime Video.
