Clarkson’s Farm Hit by Filming Delay: Jeremy Clarkson Shares Update

Jeremy Clarkson’s Amazon Prime farming show has been a hit with viewers since it first aired in 2021, but the star has been forced to halt filming for season six
Jeremy Clarkson has delivered some disappointing news to fans of Clarkson’s Farm.
The Amazon Prime celebrity has had to pause filming for the sixth series of the popular programme due to inclement weather.
The show tracks the exploits of Clarkson, his partner Lisa Hogan, farmer Kaleb Cooper, and their crew as they operate Diddly Squat Farm and pub The Farmer’s Dog.
The fifth series is slated to return later this year, with production having concluded in September of the previous year.
Clarkson broke the unfortunate news in his column for The Sunday Times, penning: “On the face of it, I’m a busy man. I have a television show to make about the farm I run.
“I have a brewery, a shop, and a pub, and I host Who Wants to be a Millionaire? and its new spin-off series, and I write three newspaper columns every week.”
“I’m therefore a one-man blizzard of productivity and action. A human whirlwind. Except I’m not. There’s no filming happening on the farm at the moment,” he continued.
“Or farming. It hasn’t stopped raining since the beginning of the year, so I can’t plant anything, and I can’t do anything with my cows either because we are still locked down by TB.”
There’s no word yet on when filming will recommence. However, Lisa has revealed some thrilling news that’s bound to feature in the sixth series, as the farm is poised to welcome some fresh faces, reports the Express.
In a fresh Instagram post, Lisa uploaded a video of the farm’s flock of sheep, captioning it: “The sheep are up the duff! Look at their fat bellies. I hope we have twins from some of them,” with followers quick to express their delight at the thrilling news.
The fifth series is anticipated to premiere on Prime in May, following the pattern of the previous two series, which were launched around the same period.
With an expected run of eight episodes, fans will have plenty to look forward to later this year.
Clarkson’s Farm is available to watch on Amazon Prime.
