Jeremy Clarkson shares ‘disastrous’ Diddly Squat farm update after 7-month lockdown

Jeremy Clarkson has shared an update from Diddly Squat farm, and it’s not good news.

The former Grand Tour host revealed late last year that the farm was dealing with an outbreak of tuberculosis among its cows.

Following the infection, Jeremy and his team were forced to put the cows in lockdown to prevent TB from spreading.

Sadly, the 65-year-old has now revealed that the farm is dealing with another ‘disaster.

In his column for The Sun, the motoring expert turned farmer shared the good news that his cows are now TB-free but admitted he’s not had a lot of time to celebrate.

‘After seven months of lockdown, Diddly Squat farm became officially TB-free this week,’ he began.

‘But before we had a chance to celebrate, we found out that one of our donkeys has laminitis and must be put down.

‘In farming, it seems you are allowed one bit of good news, but it must always be accompanied by some kind of disaster.’

Laminitis is a disease that mostly affects horses and cattle, which causes life-threatening inflammation of the sensitive laminae (tissues) connecting the pedal bone to the hoof.

This causes the afflicted animal immense pain, making them unable to stand up.

While there are some treatments available if it’s not caught early enough, euthanasia is often the only option.

The donkey’s death is yet another headache for Jeremy, who, earlier this week, was falsely accused of sharing an AI video showing him beating up Keir Starmer.

In fact, the strange clip was posted by an X account called Clarkson’s Farm – which has over 311,000 followers and is verified on the social media platform – with the caption: ‘Ok. Maybe AI isn’t all bad.’

While many have assumed it was Jeremy (Who’s no fan of the PM) who uploaded the clip, which has been seen more than two million times, this wasn’t the case.

The Clarkson’s Farm account in question is a fan account, which Jeremy has branded a ‘menace’.

Despite Jeremy disavowing the video, a number of prominent figures have called out the account for sharinbg violent clip.

Most notably, the Minister for Trade and Labour, MP for Rhondda and Ogmore, Chris Bryant.

He posted: ‘Come on @ClarksonsFarm1 take it down. I’m all for freedom of speech, but not inciting or glorifying violence. And two of my colleagues have been murdered in my time as an MP.’
