Jeremy Clarkson’s choir land starring role in new series after performance on Britain’s Got Talent dazzled judges
THEIR fame has grown since appearing on Britain’s Got Talent – but now the Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir had better get used to global exposure.
They will be back on the ITV live shows later in the spring, showing off the voices that dazzled judges and audiences alike while auditioning earlier this year.
But the choir will also feature in filming for the fifth series of Clarkson’s Farm, which goes around the world on Prime Video.
That’s because they were formed with help from Jeremy Clarkson and are sponsored by the Hawkstone Brewery he co-owns in the Cotswolds, where his Diddly Squat Farm is also based.
A TV insider said: “Filming for series five is well and truly under way and the finished show is likely to air next year.
“Fans will, however, be able to see series four in a matter of weeks, though according to Jeremy it’s a rather darker season than we’ve been used to.
“But the appearance of the Hawkstone Farmers’ Choir in the following outing is going to make it more uplifting.
“They’re going to have to get used to being even more famous though.”
The 32-strong collective of British farmers and agricultural workers were brought together by Jeremy in 2024.
They went straight through to the BGT semi-finals on a golden buzzer after reducing judge Amanda Holden to tears with their version of Elbow’s One Day Like This.
Aside from enjoying singing, which sometimes Jezza joins in with, they also aim to raise awareness and funds for mental health charities in the agricultural community.
They have also released a charity record to raise funds and awareness for the charity Shout, which gives a free, confidential, 24-7 text messaging support service specifically for farmers.
The limited-edition vinyl is available now, exclusively from the Hawkstone website. See hawkstone.com.
