Is Clarkson’s Farm season 6 already underway as Jeremy Clarkson is spotted filming at Diddly Squat after cancer reveal

Series five of Clarkson’s Farm ended on somber note

Jeremy Clarkson was recently spotted in good spirits filming what appeared to be Clarkson’s Farm season six, just days before the show revealed his prostate cancer diagnosis.

On Wednesday (17 June), the final episode of Clarkson’s Farm season five featured scenes in which the TV personality share the news with his farm colleagues, including an emotional Kaleb Cooper. He’d kept the news private until the airing of the final episode, in which he was shown informing his co-stars back in summer 2025.

Clarkson said he underwent a biopsy after a medical check-up and was told the cancer was aggressive, but had been caught at a “really early” stage. He had a procedure to remove the cancer, but said the treatment had “gone awry”, telling viewers: “I’m going to be here for a little while. I don’t know what’s going to happen. What I wanted to say was if this is all successful, I’ll see you in season six, and if it isn’t, I won’t. Take care, everyone.”

According to sources, Clarkson was present and filming at Cereals 2026 – a farming event held at Diddly Squat – on 10 and 11 June, just days before the episode was released. An onlooker told The Sun: “He made his way around the crowd stopping to chat with everyone.”

“He was laughing and joking with other farmers – he even gave a speech,” the source added. “There were cameras and crew present filming the scenes.”

Earlier this year, it was revealed that a sixth series had been commissioned by the streamer. Planning documents submitted by Diddly Squat Farm to West Oxfordshire District Council confirmed the news while seeking an extension until 2030 for the operation of its farm shop and use of the adjacent land for car parking back in February.

“Season five will air this year and season six has been commissioned and will air in summer 2027,” the document read.

Despite Clarkson’s recent cancer diagnosis reveal, Diddly Squat farm manager Cooper recently reassured viewers that Clarkson’s “spirits are high” and said he is providing his TV co-star with support every step of the way. He added that “the main thing” people should take away from the news is to stop putting off getting checked because they’re too busy.

“If anything like this happens to any of your friends and you just said to my best mate, you’ve gotta be supported through that whole journey,” he told MailOnline. “And that’s where I’ve been – I’ve been right by his side and his spirits are really good, so thank you. He’s strong-minded – he’s got a strong mind on him – which is good.”

Clarkson’s cancer diagnosis comes less than two years after a major heart scare. In the opening episode of season five of Clarkson’s Farm, he revealed doctors had told him he may have been days away from a heart attack after discovering severe coronary artery disease.

Clarkson said one artery was completely blocked, while two others were dangerously clogged, leaving his heart starved of blood before doctors inserted stents.

“I’m back and not dead,” he told Cooper, adding: “The grim reaper will have to wait. It was f***ing close, though.”
