Clarkson’s Farm Season 6 officially in production as Jeremy admits ‘bit of a year’
Jeremy Clarkson has confirmed that Clarkson’s Farm Season 6 is in production at Prime Video, days after announcing his cancer diagnosis
The announcement arrives just days after his cancer diagnosis was made public.
Jeremy Clarkson has confirmed that Clarkson’s Farm Season 6 is officially in production at Prime Video.
The news follows just days after the fifth series of the former Top Gear presenter’s hugely popular show concluded with the devastating revelation that he had been diagnosed with cancer.
Jeremy took to Instagram this weekend with a filmed update, appearing in front of a Lamborghini tractor.
“So, bit of a year,” he began. “But, I am delighted to tell you that Season 6 of Clarkson’s Farm is currently being filmed. It’s in production.”, reports the Mirror.
“And that’s particularly good news for me because… well, if you know, you know.
“And, if you don’t know, you need to watch Season 5.”
Despite Jeremy receiving a diagnosis of an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer, which left his farming colleagues Kaleb Cooper and Charlie Ireland devastated in the seventh episode of series five, he has since been confirmed as cancer free.
The presenter posted on Instagram just a couple of hours before the Season 6 announcement to reassure followers he is “perfectly fine”, while encouraging men to get themselves tested.
His update also follows Jeremy being spotted alongside camera crews at Diddly Squat Farm, fuelling widespread speculation that Season 6 was well underway.
Supporters can now be certain that the forthcoming series is officially in production and is expected to arrive in summer 2027.
One follower responded: “I love you Jeremy, love the show and the rest of the crew.”
Another viewer exclaimed: “Best news of the day!” while someone else added: “Wonderful news [heart emoji].”
“Absolutely thrilled,” a further fan wrote. “Thrilled as your show is one of my all time favourites, but even moreso that you’re all clear health wise! Excitedly awaiting season 6.”
The fifth series proved challenging for the Diddly Squat team, which includes Jeremy’s partner Lisa Hogan and dry stone walling specialist Gerald Cooper.
Alongside Jeremy’s cancer diagnosis, the most recent series opened with his emergency cardiac procedure in late 2024 and featured one of his most difficult farming ordeals when his pregnant cow was put down following “inconclusive” tuberculosis test results.
Despite this, there were numerous positive developments as the AI-powered AgBot tractor demonstrated its effectiveness and Kaleb celebrated the arrival of his third child with fiancée Taya.
Clarkson’s Farm is available to stream on Prime Video.
