Lisa Hogan Axed from Role on Clarkson’s Farm After Guests’ Inappropriate Antics

Lisa Hogan has revealed she once got fired from a bar job

Lisa Hogan has been a regular feature on the Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm, but she has now opened up about her short-lived career in the hospitality industry

Lisa Hogan of Clarkson’s Farm fame has opened up about the time she was let go from a bar job following customer complaints. Star of the hit series on Prime Video, Lisa plays a significant role in assisting her partner, Jeremy Clarkson, with his farming endeavours in Oxfordshire.

The much-anticipated fourth season of the programme premiered in May, with the newest episodes dropping just last week. In the latest instalment, viewers watched Jeremy cope alone with farm duties while Lisa threw herself into creating a new range of products, and fan-favourite Kaleb Cooper embarked on a national tour.

Jeremy, finding himself with extra help at the farm, had a moment of inspiration and decided to look into buying a pub. Despite her now-familiar authority at the farm Lisa hasn’t always been as lucky in the hospitality industry. Recounting her experience, Lisa explained: “I was fired from a bar in Australia! Some people had ordered a bottle of wine, and I couldn’t get the cork out, so I put the bottle between my legs, and pulled.

“There might have been some comments made by the men at the table, they were being a bit naughty, and I might have given them back as good as I got. They complained and I was fired.”, reports the Daily Star.

Further discussing her partnership with Clarkson, she added: “Jeremy seems to specialise in picking ventures that are notoriously hard to make a living from. He had it all worked out. He had the brewery. He had the animals. He’d grown the vegetables. It was a breeze.

“Verbally, yes, it is a breeze, but then we wouldn’t do anything if we knew what lay ahead, would we? So, he does like a challenge. It’s his nature to be constantly annoyed and p***** off at things. So owning a pub is a manna from heaven for him. He loves a good moan.”

Lisa brainstormed some design concepts for their new project, with the duo enlisting various specialists to ensure the tavern’s successful launch. Jeremy, grappling with sleepless nights due to the issues faced with the establishment, innovated a savvy approach to enhance the area without hefty costs.

“We took out the Grand Tour tent, which had been sitting in storage. It has such a great vibe inside, and so light and beautiful. Compared to the farm shop, there’s loads of space. The customers aren’t there to judge – they just want a little bit of Diddly Squat to rub off on them.”
