Fans of Clarkson’s Farm have been swept up by Harriet Cowan, the show’s latest addition who stepped in to help Jeremy Clarkson at Diddly Squat Farm whilst Kaleb Cooper toured the UK.
Joining the latest series, the 24-year-old former nurse has received an outpouring of praise online for her enthusiasm for farming, challenging stereotypes with her dedication to agricultural life.
Despite only featuring briefly on the Amazon Prime Video series due to Kaleb’s return, which left many fans wanting more, they’ve continued to follow Harriet’s rural adventures through her popular videos amassing millions of views.
In a recent TikTok update shared on June 19, Harriet introduced her partner, James Booth, to the world for the first time. Posting a photo of the couple looking blissfully happy, as well as a throwback to their younger selves at 18, Harriet reflected: “From party teenagers in 2018, to mid-to-late 20s in 2025 and like to be in bed before 10. I hope I get to this life with you forever.”
Harriet and her partner James, a third-generation farmer, initially crossed paths at a Young Farmer’s meeting. She frequently gives her followers a glimpse into their life together on social media.
In one recent post, she shared a video of James operating a tractor and hinted that he is four years her senior.
In another post, Harriet reflected on the circumstances of their meeting, saying: “The ‘butterfly effect’ is crazy because if I didn’t join young farmers we’d of (sic) never of met.”
She continued: “YFC gave me my whole life and for that I will be forever grateful!” Harriet encouraged others to consider joining community groups, assuring them they will “meet the greatest people”.
Her followers were overjoyed to see the couple together, with one commenting: “Wishing you both eternal happiness,” and another adding: “You two are so cute,”.
One follower, who has been in a relationship for a similar length of time, shared: “Me and my partner begun our relationship in 2018 too! 7 years, 1 dog, 2 kids and two homes later, we made it.”
Others made light-hearted comments about marriage, with one saying: “Buddy needs to put a ring on your finger,” and another asking: “When’s the wedding?”
Aside from her relationship, Harriet has been concentrating on her own business ventures since her appearance on the show. She recently promoted her new contracting page, Cowan Contracting, to her 493,000 Instagram followers.
The page’s description reads: “Cowan Contracting ~ family business. Eddy Cowan / Harriet Cowan. Contracting needs over Derbyshire. Based in Belper.”
Their first post showcases a pair of vibrant red tractors set against a backdrop of the countryside, while the second displays a collection of photos and videos, including one where Harriet appears alongside her father.
The caption accompanying their post reads: “We are Cown Contracting. The faces behind the page: this business is a family-run business! And we promote women in farming. Please drop us a message for any contracting enquires or fodder enquires.”
On social media, fans are sharing their hopes for Harriet’s return to Diddly Squat Farm. One fan emphatically stated: “Harriet was amazing, brought so much to the show, please bring her back.”
