Jeremy Clarkson claims Kaleb Cooper is ‘panicking’ over major Diddly Squat Farm decision

Jeremy Clarkson has said that his Clarkson’s Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper is “panicking” after he decided to host a farming trade event on Diddly Squat farm next year

Jeremy Clarkson has teased that Kaleb Cooper is getting anxious because the Diddly Squat farm will be hosting a major farming trade event, which will bring in thousands of farmers to scrutinise his work.

The 65-year-old told The Times that his farm will be hosting Cereals, a large-scale trade event for farmers, next year.

He explained: “We are hosting Cereals, which will be enormous. I’d never heard of it either, but it’s a trade [event] for 25,000, 30,000 farmers.

“It is usually in Cambridgeshire [it was actually held in Lincolnshire this year], and they go to a farm and they look at wheat and talk about fertiliser. It’s coming to Diddly Squat next year.

Clarkson joked that Kaleb is worried about being judged by his peers. He said: “Kaleb is panicking. If every farmer in the country comes and he has done all the farming, they’ll be checking his work.”

The announcement comes as Clarkson’s Farm, the Amazon Prime series documenting Jeremy’s farming adventures, has put Diddly Squat farm back in the spotlight.

As a result, Jeremy has been making headlines again, championing the causes of farmers and motorists alike.

Recently, he attended a farming protest in Central London, where farmers blocked roads with tractors to protest the Labour government’s changes to inheritance tax rules affecting farmers.

Jeremy urged Labour to reconsider their decision, demonstrating his continued commitment to advocating for farmers’ rights, reports Gloucestershire Live.

Jeremy Clarkson has ventured into the world of politics and has also recently launched a pub, The Farmer’s Dog, alongside various alcohol brands. The launch was featured in the latest series of Clarkson’s Farm.

In an interview with The Times, Clarkson shared that the experience had taken a toll on him, and he plans to slow down on launching new business ventures.

Clarkson expressed his desire for people to engage in in-person activities and spend less time on their phones.

He stated: “Just have a pint, a chat with someone. It is a bit less time scrolling on social media, a bit less time sitting with your non-communicative children.

“Go and have a pint. It is a sensible and nice thing to do. It benefits the individual, the pub. Even in London. If you come out of the Tube station, don’t go home.”
