Josh Owens ATTACKS A Hornets Nest!

Deep in the Appalachian backwoods, moonshiner Josh took matters into his own hands this week, showing that a wheelchair and a nest of angry hornets can’t stop him from keeping the liquor flowing.

With partners Henry and Kenny gone on a run — and Tickle off dealing with the police — Josh refused to sit idle at the still site. Faced with a failing water supply needed to cool the worm for their peach run, he knew there was only one thing to do: fix the ram pump himself.

Unfortunately for Josh, the pump was guarded by a massive hornet’s nest inside a shed. Undeterred by his history of allergic reactions to stings, Josh donned a makeshift protective suit, grabbed a can of hornet spray, and went to war. Despite a few close calls, he came out on top — nest destroyed and pump retrieved.

But the fight didn’t stop there. Josh repaired the leaky pump, strapped it to his four-wheeler, and made his way down to the creek — an impressive feat for anyone, let alone a man unable to walk. After hooking up the pump, he watched with pride as water poured through the line, boosting their flow up the hill.

Yet, just as Josh was ready to celebrate his triumph, the four-wheeler refused to crank. Stuck alone at the creek, he had no choice but to swallow his pride and call for help — and his partners got the last laugh.

“It sucks, man,” Josh admitted. “I wanted to show I still got worth around here. And I did. But I just couldn’t roll back up that hill.”

While his getaway may have fallen flat, no one’s denying Josh’s grit and determination. His homemade ram pump fix means the still will stay cool — and the shine will keep flowing.
