Harriet Cowan Speaks Out on Her Future with Clarkson’s Farm

Clarkson’s Farm’s new star Harriet Cowan has broken her silence on if she’ll return to the Prime Video series.

Released on Prime Video last month, the fourth season of the series continues to follow the former Top Gear presenter’s ongoing project of running his Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds.

Premiering in 2021, a major highlight for viewers has been watching Jeremy grow close to 26-year-old farmer Kaleb Cooper, in spite of their bickering.

However, the fourth season saw a big twist as fans were introduced to a brand new farmer in place of Kaleb.

Harriet, a freelance contractor, nurse and social media star from Derbyshire, was brought in to help Jeremy while Kaleb was off touring the country.

Instantly becoming a fan favourite, Harriet shined in several hilarious moments, including when she told Jeremy that a 4000-year-old Neolithic fort was ‘nearly as old’ as him.

Appearing on BBC Breakfast, Harriet was quizzed on if she’ll be returning to Clarkson’s farm as a series regular next year.

Kaleb has already been confirmed to return, leaving fans wondering if Harriet will get to appear for a second consecutive season.

“We’ve always left it very open. I’m here if he needs me, but no plans at the minute,” she said.

Reflecting on the feedback she’s received since appearing on the telly hit, Harriet admitted she’s ‘shocked’ at how nice people have been.

“I didn’t realise so many people are interested in me and what I do day to day. I’ve never really thought of it as anything exciting. It’s just my little life.

“I get up and farm, go to work, come back and farm. Even walking down the street and seeing people, they’ll recognise us. It’s absolutely crazy,” she said.

When it comes to what she was hoping to achieve on the show, Harriet explained the importance of breaking down farming stereotypes.

“Just because I’m a small blonde who likes to curl her hair and wear makeup, and things like that, doesn’t mean I can’t be a farmer. For me, it’s really important,” she noted.
