The ongoing search for the legendary treasure of Oak Island has taken a dramatic turn, as the Lagina brothers and their team have uncovered what may be the most important clue in over a decade of exploration. The most shocking find came when they encountered a massive boulder that had been split cleanly in half—supposedly by lightning—a detail also mentioned in Goodwin’s notes.

As the team continued investigating the markers, metal detection expert Gary Drayton made an astonishing find. Buried beneath one of the stones was an iron spike, estimated to date back to the 1700s. “This changes everything,” said Rick Lagina, inspecting the artifact.
