Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper announces new project away from series
Fans of Clarkson’s Farm have rallied around fan-favourite Kaleb Cooper after the young farming star revealed an exciting new project on social media.
Kaleb, who has been a key part of Jeremy Clarkson’s hit Prime Video series since it first aired in 2021, took to Instagram this week to share the news that he has a brand-new children’s book coming out later this year. The 25-year-old farmer, known for his quick wit, unwavering love for the countryside, and cheeky banter with Clarkson, was all smiles as he posted two photos to mark the announcement — one showing him proudly holding his book in front of a bright blue tractor, and another with the book being “inspected” by a curious sandy-coloured cow.
His caption read:
“With my new children’s book coming out on the 11th of September, you can now pre-order signed copies from the link in my bio. Let’s get farming taught in schools!”
The book, titled Kaleb’s Farmyard Tales, is aimed at young readers aged 5–7 and is packed with the kind of down-to-earth humour and farming wisdom that have made Kaleb such a standout personality on television. Designed to be both fun and educational, the book invites children to “grab their wellies” and join Kaleb, his beloved dog, and — of course — his “love-of-his-life” tractor for a series of muddy adventures on the farm.
According to the official description, readers will meet a colourful cast of farmyard characters, including Jeff the Mad Rooster, Bruce the Breakout Boar, and more. They’ll also learn the “wisdom of sheep,” discover how a tractor can solve almost any problem, and enjoy plenty of silly — but true — stories inspired by Kaleb’s real-life farming experiences. The tales are accompanied by humorous illustrations to capture the imagination of young farm fans.
This announcement comes at a time when Diddly Squat Farm, the heart of Clarkson’s Farm, has faced several recent challenges, including being hit by an infectious livestock disease — a situation that has brought real difficulties to both the production and daily running of the farm. But Kaleb’s new project is a welcome burst of positivity, and fans have been quick to respond with encouragement and enthusiasm.
The comments section of Kaleb’s post quickly filled with messages of support. One fan wrote:
“Pre-ordered! Kids don’t know enough about farming unless they are family involved. All schools should teach farming! Look forward to receiving the book — my girls will love it.”
Another said:
“Yay! Well done Kaleb! Love this picture.”
Others kept it short but heartfelt:
“Smashing it again!” and “Can’t wait to read this!!”
Beyond his new book, Kaleb also gave fans a small but exciting teaser about what’s to come in the fifth series of Clarkson’s Farm, which is currently in production. In a short video posted online, he could be seen in his tractor out in a field, surrounded by members of the film crew. With his trademark deadpan humour, he remarked:
“Clarkson’s Farm filming. You’ve got to go around the film crew. They don’t move anymore. They just stand there and go, ‘we are not moving.’ The GPS comes in handy.”
Since bursting onto screens alongside Jeremy Clarkson, Kaleb has become a household name in the UK and far beyond, with his blend of authenticity, dry humour, and sheer passion for farming resonating with audiences. His debut book, The World According to Kaleb, was a bestseller, and it seems his second literary venture is already well on its way to becoming another hit.
With the September 11 release date now confirmed, signed pre-orders available, and filming for the next season in full swing, it’s safe to say 2025 is shaping up to be another busy and exciting year for Kaleb Cooper — and his loyal fans are here for every moment.
