Breakout Star Ditches Show for Career Leap: Harriet Teases Explosive Reveals in New Farming Project
Clarkson’s Farm star Harriet Cowan has hinted at a new project after sharing a cryptic update on social media, following her departure from the popular Prime Video series.
The 24-year-old farmhand from Derbyshire joined the show during its most recent season, which was released in stages across May and June this year. Ms Cowan was introduced as a temporary replacement for long-time fan favourite Kaleb Cooper while he was away on tour, stepping in to help Jeremy Clarkson manage daily life at Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire.
Although her appearance on the series was brief, Ms Cowan quickly made an impression with viewers. She left the show midway through the season once her role at the farm came to an end, but her calm, capable approach earned her a strong following despite her limited time on screen.
She has now fuelled speculation among fans by teasing an upcoming project, details of which remain undisclosed. Posting on Instagram, Ms Cowan shared a series of photographs and short video clips showing her taking part in a professional photoshoot in a rural setting, with cattle visible in the background.
The post was accompanied by the caption: “We had some fun last week, and how amazing it is that this is my job!” She also added a shushing emoji, suggesting that the nature of the project is being deliberately kept under wraps for the time being.
Since her debut on Clarkson’s Farm series four, viewers have repeatedly taken to social media to call for her return to the programme. Many praised her natural rapport with Mr Clarkson and her willingness to take on the realities of farm work.
Ms Cowan has previously addressed the possibility of returning to the show. Speaking to BBC Breakfast, she said that no firm plans had been made but stressed that the door remained open.
“We’ve always left it very open,” she said. “I’m here if he needs me, but there are no plans at the minute. If he needs me, I’m here.”
Meanwhile, Clarkson’s Farm series five is expected to air in 2026, after filming officially wrapped at the end of September this year. The next season will continue to follow Mr Clarkson and his team as they navigate the ongoing challenges of running Diddly Squat Farm.
