Clarkson’s Farm confirmed to return for series six on Amazon Prime Video

Amazon has reportedly given formal approval for a sixth series of Clarkson’s Farm, securing the future of the hit Prime Video documentary despite ongoing challenges at Diddly Squat Farm.

The popular series, which follows Jeremy Clarkson as he navigates the realities of modern farming in the Cotswolds, completed filming on its fifth season last year. That instalment is expected to arrive on Amazon Prime Video in 2026, with fans already anticipating another eventful chapter from Clarkson’s Oxfordshire land.

Speaking in December, the 65-year-old revealed he would be stepping back from television in early 2026, marking his first extended break in more than four decades. Clarkson explained that the relentless nature of farming had left little room for rest, as each season flows directly into the next with no real pause in workload.

“We’ve never had a rest,” Clarkson said. “We wrap a series and immediately start again because farming doesn’t stop. You harvest and you’re immediately drilling for the next year.”

He went on to explain that a rare window had finally opened. With Kaleb Cooper away filming in Australia and Clarkson himself committed to hosting Millionaire Hot Seat, the decision was made to bring season five to a close and temporarily step away from the cameras.

Despite that pause, Clarkson was clear that the show was far from finished. He confirmed there would “definitely” be a sixth series, adding that both he and Amazon were keen to continue. According to Clarkson, fresh ideas remain firmly on the table.

“Amazon want to do series six and I want to,” he said. “I’ve got a good idea for six. I said I’ll stop doing them when there are no more ideas, but I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six and then we’ll see.”

Clarkson had previously joked that filming would resume if snow fell—and when wintry conditions arrived in January, cameras reportedly returned to Diddly Squat Farm almost immediately. According to reports, production activity intensified in recent weeks, putting the team on track to deliver the next season as planned.

Meanwhile, the release date for season five has yet to be officially confirmed. However, it is widely expected to land on Amazon Prime Video in either April or May, continuing one of the platform’s most successful unscripted series.
