Clarkson’s Farm fans convinced show is ending soon as Kaleb issues cryptic clue
Jeremy Clarkson’s hit Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm has become one of the most popular shows on the streaming platform, offering a mix of farming struggles, rural humour, and the unexpected camaraderie of life on Diddly Squat Farm. But despite its success, some fans believe the show may be nearing its conclusion — and they think they’ve spotted clues that season five could be the final chapter.
The docuseries follows the former Top Gear and Grand Tour presenter as he grapples with the challenges of running a 1,000-acre farm in Chipping Norton, alongside fan-favourite colleagues Kaleb Cooper, Gerald Cooper, and Charlie Ireland. Season five is currently in production and promises to deliver more insights into the realities of farming, but online discussions suggest that there might not be a season six.
On the Clarkson’s Farm subreddit, fans have been piecing together hints. One thread included a link to a news article suggesting Kaleb Cooper — Clarkson’s straight-talking young sidekick — is considering a spin-off of his own. “Looks like this upcoming season five will be the last for Clarkson’s Farm,” one user speculated.
Kaleb himself added fuel to the rumours when he was asked about the possibility of his own series at the National Television Awards. Speaking to The Sun, he said: “Hopefully one day. Who knows?” While not a confirmation, the comment left viewers wondering whether the dynamic of the show could change dramatically after the fifth season.
Some Redditors argued that Clarkson himself has already hinted at winding things down. “It’s been looking that way for a bit now,” one fan posted. “JC talked a lot about this with S4 starting… that it was time for a break after S5.” Another chimed in: “He also said it’s not necessarily the end of the series, just that the whole crew needs a break after season 5 if I remember correctly.”
Others pointed out the difficulty of keeping the show fresh. “It’s reached a point where not much is going to change year to year anymore,” one viewer wrote, while another joked: “Jeremy needs to start farming seaweed to keep coming up with new ideas.”

Still, many fans said they would be devastated if the show ended. One pleaded: “I wish it didn’t have to end,” while another suggested a spin-off dedicated to fan-favourite Gerald Cooper: “We need a Gerald series.” Others floated the idea of the show returning in a new format, perhaps with “an annual check-in” to see how things are progressing on the farm.
Some even expressed surprise that Kaleb, who has built a strong personal brand through books, public appearances, and now even a clothing line, hasn’t already launched his own digital content. “Quite frankly I’m shocked he hasn’t started doing his own YouTube,” one commenter noted.
For now, Amazon Prime has not confirmed whether season five will indeed be the last, nor has Clarkson publicly announced an end date for the series. What’s clear is that Clarkson’s Farm has struck a chord with audiences far beyond the farming world, and whether through the main show, a Kaleb-led spin-off, or annual specials, fans are eager for life at Diddly Squat to continue in some form.
