Clarkson’s Farm fate revealed as Amazon continues to delay season 5 release date
Fans of Jeremy Clarkson’s Amazon Prime reality series, Clarkson’s Farm, are yet to discover when season five of the show will air after filming concluded in 2025
Fans of Clarkson’s Farm have anxiously been waiting to hear if the show will continue beyond it’s upcoming fifth season. The series has been a smash hit for Amazon – with cameras following former Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson to chronicle the trials and triumphs endured as he runs his farm in the Cotswolds.
Launched in 2021, the hit farming reality show has introduced fans to a host of faces as Jezza, 65, is joined by farmhand Kaleb Cooper, partner Lisa Hogan, land agent Charlie Ireland and security guard Gerald Cooper. A fourth season of the show aired last year – and a fifth, which has already been filmed, is expected to drop on the streaming service in April or May this year.
But fans have been left unsure if the show has been renewed beyond season five – with Amazon remaining silent over the future of the show. But now show star Jeremy himself has confirmed cameras have been rolling for a sixth season already – and even teased a possible seventh season too.
A source told The Sun that the show star ordered cameras to his land last month after 2026 got off to a colder start than expected. They claimed: “Jezza got straight out onto the fields of Diddly Squat Farm and start the cameras rolling.
“Last week things really picked up the pace, however, and the team are now on target to be able to deliver us the new season next year.” The update came after Jeremy already hinted he would be filming for the show again when snow fell during winter.
He previously told The Sun: “We’ve never had a rest, we wrap a series and immediately start again because farming doesn’t stop. You harvest and you’re immediately start drilling for the next year.
“So, but this time Kaleb’s gone off to Australia, he’s filming down there at the moment, I was doing Millionaire Hot Seat and I really wanted to have a holiday because I haven’t had one in ages. So we just said, ‘OK well let’s just actually wrap it.’ And then I just said, ‘If it snows we’ll start filming again’.”
The star went on to explain that he had plans for at least two more season beyond the fifth, revealing: “We’ll definitely do six – Amazon want to (do series six) and I want to.
“I’ve got a good idea for six… said I’ll stop doing them when there are no more ideas. But I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six and then we’ll see.”
While fans will no doubt be pleased by Jeremy’s updates, it is still not entierly clear when the fifth season of Clarkson’s Farm will air. And last December, fans demanded that the show return – with more scenes set aside for Harriet Cowan who joined the cast in season four.
Looking back at her year, Harriet shared photos on Instagram, writing: “2025 WHAT A YEAR IT WAS !! A year ill never forget, met some amazing people and friends, involved lots of what I like best. Got to work with some experienced farmers and some less experienced farmers [laughing emoji], travelled all around England visiting farms and county shows!
“Met lots of young people who want to go into agriculture. A big thanks to everyone for supporting farmers this year let’s hope next year is just as good!!” Her post was warmly received by many fans – who enjoyed seeing her on the show after she stepped in to cover for series favourite Kaleb Cooper who took time out from the series to tour with a show of his own.
One fan demanding that Harriet become a regular member of the show wrote in the comments of her post: “How about more Harriet in the upcoming seasons?” We love her! #girlpower.” With another typing: “You were a great addition to the show, need more of you!!!”
The TV star herself hinted she could indeed return, telling the BBC last year: “We’ve always left it very open. I’m here if he needs me, but no plans at the minute.”
