Clarkson’s Farm favourite reveals painful condition leaving him struggling day to day

Farming contractor Kaleb Cooper has updated followers on his condition

Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has shared a ‘painful’ health update after admitting that he’s been in agony on his social media.

Farming contractor Kaleb Cooper first rose to popularity after appearing on Jeremy Clarkson’s Prime Video series and is often seen growing frustrated as he teaches the former Top Gear star about farming practices.

Kaleb and Jeremy even attended the National Television Awards last year when Clarkson’s Farm scooped up the factual entertainment award. However, taking to his Instagram, Kaleb explained that he had been battling a viral infection, adding that he was experiencing a feeling of “pins and needles’ throughout his body.

Filming from inside his tractor, he shared: “I’ve never been in so much pain in my life. I don’t know how I’m saying this but I’m 27 years old and I’ve got shingles. It is so painful.

“I thought only old people get that and no disrespect if you’ve got it and you’re maybe old. Honestly, it’s like pins and needles continually in your body.”

He then issued a plea for help from his followers, and Kaleb candidly asked: “How do I get rid of it? Can I take a tablet to get rid of it really quickly or something?”

Jeremy previously stated that the programme would be taking a break following its fifth season, which is expected to premiere in the coming months. The break will also see Jeremy stepping away for time off from all his TV work for the first time in 40 years.

However, Jeremy’s break may be over faster than he anticipated, to step back in front of the camera on his Oxfordshire farm this week after temperatures plunged across the country.

He told The Sun: “We’ve never had a rest, we wrap a series and immediately start again because farming doesn’t stop. You harvest, and you immediately start drilling for the next year.

“So, but this time Kaleb‘s gone off to Australia, he’s filming down there at the moment, I was doing Millionaire Hot Seat and I really wanted to have a holiday because I haven’t had one in ages. So we just said, ‘OK well let’s just actually wrap it’. And then I just said, ‘If it snows we’ll start filming again’.”

According to Jeremy, there will ‘definitely’ be a sixth series of Clarkson’s Farm. He explained: “We’ll definitely do six – Amazon want to (do series six) and I want to. I’ve got a good idea for six.”

Looking ahead to the future, Jeremy teased that he isn’t ruling out bringing the cameras back for a seventh insight into his farming adventures.

“I said I’ll stop doing them when there are no more ideas. But I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six and then we’ll see,” he hinted.
