Clarkson’s Farm: Kaleb Cooper aims to buy Cotswolds farm
Kaleb Cooper, the breakout star of Clarkson’s Farm, has shared that his biggest ambition in life is to own a farm of his own in the Cotswolds, despite the soaring cost of agricultural land in the region.
The 27-year-old farm contractor, who grew up in Chipping Norton, became a household name after appearing alongside Jeremy Clarkson in the Prime Video series when it first aired in 2021. Since then, his no-nonsense advice and witty clashes with Clarkson have made him a fan favourite, leading to his continued presence in all subsequent seasons of the show, including the fourth series which was released earlier this year between May and June.
In addition to his growing television profile, Cooper has been balancing his busy career with family life. He and his partner, Taya, are already parents to two young children, and earlier this month they welcomed the arrival of their third child.

Speaking in a new interview with The Sunday Times, Cooper opened up about his long-term goal of purchasing his own farmland. “I was put on this earth to grow food,” he said passionately. “Calves, chickens and a few pigs. That’s the dream. I’m saving everything, but because it’s the Cotswolds, the prices are going through the f***ing roof.”
At present, Cooper has access to just four acres of rented grassland, which he uses to support his herd of around 200 beef cows. However, the young farmer admitted that the local property market is a major hurdle. According to him, agricultural land in and around Chipping Norton is currently valued at approximately £20,000 per acre, making it an almost unreachable target for aspiring landowners like himself.
Despite the challenges, those close to Cooper – and indeed the article itself – suggest he is determined to play the long game. The Sunday Times described him as being “in it for the long haul” and highlighted his commitment to eventually securing “his own slice of Cotswold heaven.”
Fans of Clarkson’s Farm can expect to see much more of Cooper in the coming years. Production is already underway on the fifth season of the popular series, which is being filmed on Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm in Oxfordshire. While no exact release date has been announced, it is widely expected to premiere on Prime Video in 2026.
