Clarkson’s Farm Star Harriet Cowan Teams Up with Izzy Hammond in Hilarious New Video

IZZY Hammond, daughter of former Top Gear star Richard Hammond, has teamed up with one of the breakout stars of Amazon Prime’s hit farming series Clarkson’s Farm in a brand-new video for her father’s popular YouTube channel, DRIVETRIBE.

In the video, Izzy appeared alongside Harriet Cowan – who made her debut in series four of Clarkson’s Farm – as the pair bonded over tractors, cars, and the sometimes chaotic world of farming life.

The 25-year-old, who is usually more at home behind the wheel of sleek sports cars, swapped horsepower for farm power as Harriet took on the task of teaching her how to operate a tractor. Izzy gamely hopped into several of Harriet’s beloved red Massey Fergusons, each one with its own quirks, and quickly discovered that farm machinery is an entirely different beast from the cars she’s used to.

After managing to get the hang of two tractors, Izzy’s luck wavered on a third attempt, when she stalled the vehicle and burst out laughing: “All the farmers are going to laugh at me.” Despite the setback, she eventually found her rhythm, proving that determination pays off even in muddy fields.

Once Izzy had shown she could handle herself in the cab, it was time to switch things up. She invited Harriet into more familiar territory – her trusty Range Rover, affectionately nicknamed “Lizzy.” With Izzy back in her element, the two took the car for a spin and chatted about Harriet’s unusual journey into television farming.

Harriet revealed how she came to join the Clarkson’s Farm crew, stepping in to help Jeremy Clarkson at a time when his right-hand man, Caleb Cooper, was away on tour. Reflecting on the opportunity, Harriet said: “I don’t know if it was always meant to be a woman or not, but it was very nice to be asked to do that, and go in and show women power on an agriculture TV show where often, it isn’t something where you’d see many women.”

The fun didn’t stop there. Harriet decided to push Izzy’s new skills to the limit by setting her a practical challenge – baling a field with a tractor worth an eye-watering £125,000. With nerves of steel and a fair bit of encouragement, Izzy gave it her best shot, proving she’s not afraid to step outside her comfort zone.

Fans of the DRIVETRIBE video were quick to flood the comments section with their excitement and approval, praising the dynamic chemistry between the two women. Many viewers said they would love to see more collaborations from the unlikely duo.

One enthusiastic fan wrote: “Like to see this duo, they would drive Jezza and Hammond to madness.” Another chimed in: “The duo we never knew we needed.”

Others even pitched their own ideas for future projects. One popular suggestion was a Top Gear-style challenge featuring Caleb, Izzy, and Harriet: “Say you give them each £5,000 to buy an old sports car and report to a test track for a series of challenges. Would that be a decent idea for a TV show?”

The overwhelming consensus was clear – viewers loved the lighthearted energy between Izzy and Harriet. As one commenter summed it up: “These girls have to do more videos. That was so silly. Hysterical!”

With fans already calling for sequels, it seems this unexpected pairing could be the start of something special, blending Clarkson’s Farm charm with a Hammond family twist.
