Clarkson’s Farm star Harriet Cowan unrecognisable as she ditches overalls for lavish gown
Clarkson’s Farm newcomer Harriet Cowan has delighted fans with a dazzling transformation, trading in her muddy overalls and well-worn wellies for an elegant ball gown as she stepped out at the National Television Awards on Wednesday night.
The 24-year-old farmer, who joined Jeremy Clarkson’s Prime Video hit as the latest recruit on Diddly Squat Farm, looked unrecognisable from her usual on-screen appearance. Best known for her no-nonsense attitude in the fields, Harriet wowed viewers and followers alike when she shared images of her stunning red carpet debut.
Swapping her farm gear for full glamour, Harriet wore a strapless, floor-length white gown that shimmered beneath the lights of London’s O2 Arena. Her look was completed with a delicate pearl necklace and loose blonde curls that framed her glowing smile. Fans quickly flocked to Instagram to shower her with praise, describing her as “phenomenal,” “incredible,” and “absolutely beautiful.”
Harriet joined Jeremy Clarkson, partner Lisa Hogan, fan favourite Kaleb Cooper, and land agent Charlie Ireland on stage as the Clarkson’s Farm team accepted the coveted Factual Entertainment Programme award. The show, which has become a runaway success since its debut in 2021, beat stiff competition to scoop the prize.
In his acceptance speech, Clarkson praised the dedication of the farmers who make the programme possible. “We’re genuinely thrilled,” he told the audience. “And equally, there are those of us who farm here and we’ve scrubbed up so well you wouldn’t know it. But there are farmers — Caleb and Harriet and Charlie, and Gerald who isn’t here — who work incredibly hard. I mean, way harder than anyone in this room. And I do mean that.”
Later, Harriet shared her excitement with fans online, posting heartfelt reflections alongside red carpet photos. “OH MY GOD! I had the most incredible night at the @officialntas, and to top it off WE WON!!!” she wrote.
She went on to highlight the importance of the show’s recognition. “Clarkson’s Farm has been one of the best things to happen to the farming industry — to show the truth behind it all and open up the harsh realities farmers face every day! And I for one am so proud to be a part of a show that has made such a huge impact to those hardworking individuals. I hope we did all those farmers proud. We represented you guys last night — and to top it off it was Back British Farming Day!”
Despite her glamorous evening, Harriet remained true to her roots. Signing off her post, she joked: “But honestly thank you all so much for voting, you have made our year!! Now the cows are hungry so… back to work!!”
Fans were quick to applaud not only her red carpet look but also her humility and passion for farming. One supporter commented: “Well done! You look phenomenal!” Another added: “How beautiful, and I hope you all had a wonderful time.” A third simply wrote: “Congratulations! You looked incredible.”
With Clarkson’s Farm continuing to shine a spotlight on the challenges and triumphs of British farming, Harriet Cowan has already cemented herself as a breakout star — admired for both her hard graft in the fields and her ability to dazzle under the bright lights of showbusiness.
