Clarkson’s Farm star hints at season five filming update with ‘good’ news

Jeremy Clarkson’s partner Lisa Hogan shared an update with fans.

Clarkson’s Farm star and Jeremy Clarkson’s partner Lisa Hogan has teased a season five filming update with celebrating some “good” news.

It’s been a difficult time for the farming team as Top Gear star Clarkson, 60, revealed just days ago that his Oxfordshire farm, Diddly Squat, had been hit with bovine tuberculosis.

To add to the woes, he later revealed that one of the puppies that his dog Arya gave birth to had passed away.

“Bad news from Diddly Squat. We’ve gone down with TB. Everyone here is absolutely devastated,” he initially posted on X.

“We’re now locked down and it’s just dreadful, absolutely dreadful,” he later added, confirming Diddly Squat will be shut for at least two months before they can do another test, though the farm shop would remain “unaffected” by the lockdown.

Lisa has meanwhile been keeping fans updated on the remaining puppies, and now shared a farming update on Instagram.

Alongside a video of a combine harvester with a picture of what appeared to be a filming crew by the tractors at the end, she wrote: “Good day, very good day in the office.”

One fan commented to ask if Clarkson’s Farm star Gerald would be doing the harvest this year, to which Lisa replied: “All will be revealed…”

“How is the harvest this year?” another asked, with Lisa saying: “Scorched.”

“Great work to all Cotswold farmers. I recently captured harvest for a nearby farm was amazing,” another fan commented.

Someone else said: “I remember that feeling of satisfaction seeing the combine going up and down the field. A job well done!”

Another wrote: “I’ve just watched episode 8 from last year so hopefully this harvest is better for you.”

Clarkson announced the news of season five in a video last November, while celebrating Bonfire night with a series of lit-up drones in the background.

He said: “Over the years, bright lights in the sky have been used to make many important announcements – the birth of baby Jesus, for example.”

With the drones moving into the formation of the number five, he continued: “But tonight, they’re being used to make an announcement that’s even bigger than that. Season 5 of Clarkson’s Farm is coming.”

However, he later revealed the team would be taking a “short break” before a possible sixth season.

He told The Times: “Whatever happens we’ll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out.

“We’ve been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody could do with a rest.”

Clarkson’s Farm is available to watch on Amazon Prime Video.
