After a temporary halt in production, Jeremy Clarkson has confirmed that filming for the fifth series of Clarkson’s Farm on Amazon Prime Video has officially concluded. Posting on his Instagram, the 65-year-old television presenter shared a photograph of himself with partner Lisa Hogan and the full Diddly Squat Farm team, including Caleb Cooper, Charlie Ireland, and Gerald Cooper, around a campfire in a meadow. Beneath the image, he wrote simply: “Season 5, it’s a wrap.”
Fans of the popular show immediately flooded the comments section with reactions ranging from excitement to playful pleas for more seasons. One viewer urged, “They should continue until they have a perfect farming year. No COVID, no drought, no floods, no bovine TB, no crop failures, no interference from West Oxfordshire District Council. Surely, it’s got to happen one year, hasn’t it?” Another added, “This is the only show I want to see 20 seasons of.”

Clarkson previously revealed to The Times that the cast and crew would be taking a well-earned break after five consecutive seasons, stating, “I’d do a sixth if there was a reason for doing it, like a b**y good story. Whatever happens, we’ll definitely take a short break as the crews are all worn out. We’ve been filming here two or three days a week, every week, for five years. Everybody can do with the rest.”
Season 4, which launched earlier this year, became the most-watched installment of the series to date. According to Deadline, each episode attracted an average of 4.4 million viewers based on 7-day viewing figures. The show has firmly established itself as one of Amazon Prime Video’s top programs worldwide.
