Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper flooded with support after major announcement
Kaleb Cooper, the charismatic young farmer who shot to fame alongside Jeremy Clarkson on the hit Prime Video series Clarkson’s Farm, has delighted his fans this week with a major announcement — and it’s one that’s sure to inspire the next generation of farm enthusiasts.
Since joining Clarkson’s Farm in 2021, Kaleb has become one of the most recognisable faces in modern British farming. Known for his no-nonsense attitude, witty banter with Clarkson, and unrivalled passion for agriculture, he has built a loyal following far beyond the farming community. But now, he’s turning his attention to a new audience — children.
Taking to Instagram, Kaleb revealed that he will be releasing a brand-new children’s book later this year. In a pair of charming photos, he gave followers a sneak peek: one image showed the colourful book propped up against a bright blue tractor, while the other featured a sandy-coloured cow appearing to give the book a curious inspection.
Alongside the images, Kaleb wrote with his trademark enthusiasm:
“With my new children’s book coming out on the 11th of September, you can now pre-order signed copies from the link in my bio. Let’s get farming taught in schools!”
The book, titled Kaleb’s Farmyard Tales, promises to take young readers on a muddy, mischievous, and thoroughly entertaining tour of farm life — all from Kaleb’s unique perspective. Designed for children aged 5–7, the stories blend true experiences from his time on the farm with playful, exaggerated moments and humorous illustrations.
The official blurb offers a taste of the fun inside:
“Grab your wellies and join Kaleb, his trusty dog, and the love-of-his-life tractor in these muddy, true, and very silly stories from the farm. You’ll meet Jeff the Mad Rooster, Bruce the Breakout Boar (and MAYBE even catch him), learn the wisdom of sheep, and discover how using a tractor can solve nearly every problem there is. From the nation’s favourite farming star, Kaleb Cooper, and with funny illustrations too, these silly and true tales — packed with everything Kaleb’s learnt since he first became a farmer — are perfect for all farm-mad fans aged 5–7 years old.”
Kaleb’s aim is simple but ambitious — to share his love for farming with children who may have never stepped foot on a farm, while showing them how vital agriculture is to everyday life. It’s a passion project that arrives at a challenging time for his real-life workplace, Diddly Squat Farm, which has recently battled a series of setbacks, including an outbreak of infectious livestock disease.
Fans were quick to rally around the announcement, flooding the comments section of his post with excitement and encouragement. One supporter wrote: “Pre-ordered! Kids don’t know enough about farming unless they’re family involved. All schools should teach farming! Look forward to receiving the book — my girls will love it.” Another added: “Yay! Well done, Kaleb! Love this picture.” Others kept it short but supportive, with messages like “So great to see this”, “Smashing it again!”, and “Can’t wait to read this!”
This isn’t the only thing Kaleb has been teasing lately. Just days before the book news, he gave fans a cheeky behind-the-scenes look at the filming of Clarkson’s Farm season five, which is currently in production. In a short video, Kaleb is seen expertly navigating his tractor around the crew members scattered in the middle of a field. Laughing, he remarks: “Clarkson’s Farm filming. You’ve got to go around the film crew. They don’t move anymore. They just stand there and go, ‘We are not moving.’ The GPS comes in handy.”
With his easy humour, practical know-how, and deep respect for the land, Kaleb Cooper has already made an indelible mark on British farming culture. Now, with Kaleb’s Farmyard Tales, he’s set to share that world with children — muddy boots, mischievous animals, and all.
Clarkson’s Farm is available to stream on Prime Video, while Kaleb’s Farmyard Tales will be released on 11 September and is available for pre-order now.
