Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper makes cheeky dig at Jeremy Clarkson in new Hawkstone ad

Jeremy Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper had an amusing exchange in the new commercial

Clarkson’s Farm favourite Kaleb Cooper has delivered a savage dig at Jeremy Clarkson in a fresh advertisement for Hawkstone lager, reports Gloucestershire Live.

In the brief footage, Jeremy, 65, emerges from his pub The Farmer’s Dog clutching a pint of Hawkstone’s lager and begins enthusing about the beverage.

He then joins the Farmer’s Choir, gathered outside the establishment, and begins performing alongside them, similar to the first controversial advert, which was defended by farmers.

They deliver an energetic performance of: “Hawkstone Lager, it’s the dog’s nuts” set to Handel’s Messiah.

Yet midway through the rousing number, Kaleb, 27, spins round and challenges Jeremy: “Why are you singing? You’re not a farmer.”

His sharp comment leaves Jeremy speechless whilst Kaleb continues performing with the remaining choir members and The Grand Tour presenter finishes his drink.

The sequence creates entertaining television, with Jeremy and Kaleb friends, despite occasional disagreements.

Viewers flocked to the comments to debate the fresh commercial, with one rushing to defend the presenter: “You are too a farmer! Not necessarily a good one, but a farmer nonetheless.”

Another supporter remarked: “Made me chuckle and absolutely fabulous and brilliant fun.”

A third individual observed: “Because you’re single handedly showing the nation that the government doesn’t give a flying F about farmers. You’ve shown that and the nation stands behind you [sic].”

The commercial concludes with Jeremy gazing directly into the camera lens and declaring: “I did a jingle!” Jeremy shared the second advert on Instagram with his followers, writing: “Our second ad, and we aren’t allowed to show this one on TV either ..a case of 24 Hawkstone for a lucky winner who guesses why… #backbritishfarmingdrinkhawkstone.”

The latest commercial emerged just days after Jeremy revealed his first expletive-laden advertisement, which the former Top Gear presenter claimed had been prohibited from broadcast.

Nevertheless, RadioCentre, the body responsible for vetting radio advertisements before they air in the UK, confirmed they had not received the commercial for assessment, indicating it hadn’t actually been banned.

Furthermore, LadBible’s investigation involved contacting Clearcast, which handles pre-broadcast television adverts, and the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), both of which confirmed they had not prohibited the advertisement.

The ASA explained they only address complaints after an advert has been broadcast.

Considering the profanity in the initial commercial, where a choir sang “f***ing good” about the lager, it would almost certainly have been rejected had it been submitted to the regulatory bodies.

Alongside marketing his Hawkstone beer, Jeremy and his Diddly Squat Farm crew are currently occupied filming the fifth series of the internationally successful programme Clarkson’s Farm.

The presenter disclosed he’ll be examining inheritance tax’s impact on farmers whilst attempting to expand upon his achievements at Diddly Squat and his new establishment, The Farmer’s Dog.
