Clarkson’s Farm Star Kaleb Cooper Struggles Down Under After Getting Stuck

Kaleb Cooper of Clarkson’s Farm fame is set to jet off to Australia for his new show Kaleb: Down Under, but his trip has got off to a bad start

Favourite from Clarkson’s Farm, Kaleb Cooper, took to Instagram to share a recent mishap before his trip Down Under on Prime Video.

The upcoming spin-off, Kaleb: Down Under, was announced earlier this month and will follow the well-known farmer on his first solo journey to one of the world’s largest farming markets across four episodes.

After touring the UK last year, Kaleb is once again stepping out of his Chipping Norton comfort zone to experience farming on an unprecedented scale, exploring thousands of acres throughout Australia.

Unfortunately, his adventure got off to a rocky start when he found himself trapped by an electric gate just days before his departure.

“Sums up the crazy week I’m having before I go to Australia [crying laughter emoji] so busy [stressed face emoji],” he wrote in the caption of his recent IG post, reports the Mirror.

He then posted a video where he explains the “small problem”, adding, “I pressed a button and went to walk past and my jumper got caught in it.”

The incident didn’t end there as Kaleb realised the full extent of the damage when the gate started to close.

“Ah it’s cut my jumper!” he exclaimed, clearly frustrated. “Noo. Aw noo.”

Kaleb then pointed his phone at his face and pulled a sad face for the camera.

Many followers have expressed sympathy for the celebrity farmer ahead of his daring journey, with one IG user joking: “It’s saying, ‘Please don’t leave me!'”

Another viewer joked: “Looks like something Jeremy would do!”

One supporter reassured him: “Don’t worry mate won’t need that in aus 36°C tomorrow haha.”

Kaleb’s revelation comes after the fourth series of Jeremy Clarkson’s hit farming programme wrapped up in June this year, with filming for a fifth series at Diddly Squat Farm already in progress.

The ex-Top Gear and The Grand Tour presenter has lately come under fire from supporters for his refusal to take cash payments at his farm shop, where partner Lisa offers their home-grown goods for sale.

“Why won’t you accept cash at your shop? Do you support digital currency? Bad move, my son,” one unhappy shopper questioned on X.

Jeremy replied: “I’m with you but it’s just completely impractical, I’m afraid.”

In a recent announcement, Kaleb teased his upcoming journey: “I spend most of my time with the most travelled man in the world, so I got brave and booked my first ever flight to see what all the fuss was about. Australia here I come!

“And Australia, you’ll be gaining a new farmer for a couple of months as I discover if I can make my farming contracting business go international.”
