Clarkson’s Farm star Kaleb Cooper has become a father for the third time
Clarkson’s Farm favourite Kaleb Cooper has welcomed his third child, but in typical fashion, he remained steadfast in the fields when the momentous news arrived.
The 26 year old agriculturalist, who has captured viewers’ hearts with his straightforward approach on the popular Amazon Prime series, was busy harvesting when he got word that his fiancée Taya had entered labour.
According to his employer Jeremy Clarkson, Kaleb showed no signs of alarm nor made a frantic dash to the maternity ward.
Rather, he matter-of-factly announced he would make his way there after completing work on his current field.
Clarkson subsequently quipped that his youthful colleague demonstrated ultimate professionalism by prioritising agriculture above all else – including a maternity ward sprint, reports the Daily News.
The ex-Top Gear host disclosed this conversation in his newspaper column, commending Kaleb’s dedication whilst also ribbing him about the peculiar timing.
He even teased that the newborn should be named after the field where Kaleb was working at the time, which happened to be called “Deadman”. The tongue-in-cheek suggestion was quickly dismissed.
This is the third child for Kaleb and his longtime partner Taya, who are childhood sweethearts.
The pair already have two young children, Oscar, born in 2021, and Willa, born in 2023. Kaleb, a native of Chipping Norton who embarked on farming in his early adolescence, has emerged as one of the standout personalities of Clarkson’s Farm since its 2021 debut.
His candid advice, wit and staunch dedication to traditional farming have endeared him to viewers.
However, while Kaleb had reasons to rejoice in his personal life, the mood at Diddly Squat Farm has been less jubilant. Clarkson confessed that the summer drought had left their crops in a sorry state, with the yield so meagre it could “fit inside a vacuum bag”.
