Clarkson’s Farm Star Secures Spot as Series Future Unveiled
A TikTok star who rose to fame after giving Jeremy Clarkson a helping hand in the fourth series of Clarkson’s Farm is reportedly not expected to return for the new season. Harriet Cowan, stepped in as a farmhand on the Amazon Prime Video hit when the regular manager Kaleb Cooper was away for some episodes.
24-year-old Harriet had come in to cover while Kaleb was doing his one-man show, and there was a touching goodbye between her and Jeremy when Kaleb returned to Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, , reports the Express.
Former Top Gear host Jeremy thanked Harriet warmly, saying: “You saved my life. So, if we get stuck again, can we give you a call?” However, sources close to the show have told reporters that there are “no plans” for the TikTok sensation to feature in the current series that will air until June or any potential future ones.
Harriet, who works as an NHS nurse, only intended to offer temporary assistance to 65-year-old Jeremy while Kaleb was absent. A source told Mail Online: “Harriet only came on the show to help Jeremy while Kaleb was on tour. She finished filming as soon as he arrived back, leaving Kaleb to the job.
“While Jeremy has expressed massive gratitude for Harriet’s diligent work and said he would certainly reach out to her for help in the future, at this time there are no confirmed plans for her to participate in the filming of Clarkson’s Farm.”
The series, which took off in 2021, showcases Jeremy Clarkson’s foray into farming against the Cotswolds’ picturesque scenery. Harriet, with her farmer’s daughter savvy, wowed viewers with her extensive knowledge of agriculture during her short span on the show.
In a touching goodbye, Harriet and Jeremy, also known for his role on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?, exchanged a warm embrace. Jeremy asked, “So, this is it, you’re off back to Derbyshire?”
Expressing his appreciation, he said, “Well, listen, you have been an absolute star. Thanks ever so much for everything. You have been absolutely brilliant, and best of luck. You saved my life, you did, you were brilliant, so listen, if we get stuck again, can I give you a call? Let me rephrase that: when we get stuck again?”
Jeremy snapped up the vast 1,000-acre estate in 2008, where Kaleb, then a mere lad, had been toiling away on the farm. Kaleb has since shot to fame through Clarkson’s Farm, notching up book deals and hitting the road with his tour, The World According to Kaleb.
