Could Kaleb Cooper Join the Fast & Furious Family?
Kaleb Cooper, the 27-year-old farmhand from Chipping Norton, has thrown his hat into the ring for a role in the legendary Fast & Furious movie franchise, surprising fans and movie buffs alike. Cooper, who gained nationwide recognition for his starring role on the hit Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm, where he works alongside Jeremy Clarkson on the latter’s Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire, is now offering his services for a spot in the final Fast & Furious film.
Cooper’s interest in joining the iconic car-racing franchise comes after a post by Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel. Diesel teased earlier this week that football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo would make a cameo in the next installment of the saga, sharing an image with Ronaldo on Instagram. In the post, Diesel expressed excitement about the soccer legend’s involvement, writing, “Everyone asked, would he be in the Fast mythology… I gotta tell you he is a real one. We wrote a role for him.”
Not one to miss out on an opportunity, Kaleb Cooper responded to the post, cheekily offering his services to the Fast & Furious team. In his comment, he wrote: “I’m sure you need a farmer to join the family as well. Why not write me a role?” It seems that Cooper is eager to add a dose of rural charm to the franchise, known for its high-octane action, car chases, and unforgettable characters.
The Fast & Furious franchise has been a worldwide phenomenon since its debut in 2001, spanning ten films to date, with the most recent, Fast and Furious X, hitting theaters in 2023. This latest installment has sparked buzz for what could be a star-studded finale, with the potential addition of global icons like Ronaldo. In a fascinating twist earlier this year, Matt Jones, from Thame, was presented with the legendary Nissan Skyline GT-R R34, which played a prominent role in 2 Fast 2 Furious, famously driven by the late Paul Walker’s character, Brian O’Conner. Jones won the highly coveted car, valued at £150,000, through a competition run by Best of the Best, with presenter Christian Williams delivering the surprise at Jones’ workplace.
While Cooper’s surprise offer may seem unexpected, it fits right in with the Fast & Furious franchise’s tradition of adding exciting, diverse, and often unconventional cast members to their ever-expanding family. Whether he gets the chance to race alongside Vin Diesel and company remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: Kaleb Cooper’s invitation has certainly added a unique twist to the buzz surrounding the franchise’s final chapter.
