Fans rally around Lisa Hogan after she reveals farm chaos with new puppy

Lisa Hogan has revealed she once got fired from a bar job

Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend and Clarkson’s Farm favourite Lisa Hogan has once again charmed fans with her down-to-earth honesty about life at Diddly Squat Farm, but this time her post sparked laughter, empathy, and a flood of supportive comments.

Taking to Instagram, the Irish former model revealed that their newest four-legged addition to the family—a lively puppy named Margaery—has been causing chaos around the Oxfordshire farm. Posting a humorous video of the mischievous pup, Lisa wrote:

“Margaery, we have a problem. Ever since she’s discovered the big water, she’s upturned her, her mother’s, and her aunt’s water bowls. Advice anyone? We are swimming here in the dog room.”

Within minutes, her comment section filled with advice and warm words from fans who could relate to her new-puppy struggles. One follower suggested:

“Get a heavier bowl, it worked for us.”

Another sympathized with the relatable mess:

“I call this the explore/nursery school stage, a bit like soft play for kids. Rotate her toys to keep interest, and a heavyweight bowl may help too.”

A third added a comforting note:

“It’s a phase! Our standard schnauzer pup, Mervyn, used to splash around in his water bowls every evening, blowing bubbles and tipping them over. After a few weeks, the novelty wore off!”

Lisa, who has become a beloved figure on Clarkson’s Farm for her sharp wit, warmth, and endless patience with both Jeremy and the animals, often shares candid glimpses into their daily challenges. Fans adore her openness, and many took the chance to praise her good humour and resilience amid the farm’s unpredictable realities.

Her light-hearted post came shortly after a much more sombre update from Jeremy Clarkson himself. Just days earlier, the former Top Gear presenter revealed heartbreaking news on his own Instagram: the first calf ever born at Diddly Squat Farm had been euthanized due to bovine tuberculosis (TB).

Sharing a photo of the animal, Clarkson wrote:

“This was the first calf ever born at Diddly Squat. And this morning she was destroyed, while pregnant with twins, because she has TB. So sad.”

The revelation drew thousands of messages of support from fans around the world. One wrote:

“That’s so sad. I remember the joy and excitement from you all when she was born. It’s heartbreaking to hear. I hope the rest of the herd is safe.”

Another commented:

“Very sad indeed. The compassion Mr. Jeremy Clarkson shows animals in this increasingly horrible world is very heart-warming, and I for one am very grateful to him—a brilliant man.”

Both Jeremy and Lisa have continued to share the highs and lows of farm life, offering an unfiltered window into the challenges faced by British farmers—from crop failures and regulatory hurdles to moments of joy like new births and mischievous puppies.

As Clarkson recently confirmed, Clarkson’s Farm will continue for a fifth season—expected to air in 2026—before taking a short hiatus. Fans can likely expect plenty more heart, humour, and chaos from Diddly Squat’s most beloved duo, whether they’re wrestling with water-bowl-loving puppies or navigating the unpredictable realities of rural life.
