Friends surprise Kaleb Cooper with Aussie-themed party before his big trip Down Under

Kaleb Cooper, one of the breakout stars of Clarkson’s Farm, has been given a warm and heartfelt send-off by friends and fellow farmers as he prepares to embark on his next big adventure — filming his brand-new Prime Video series Kaleb: Down Under in Australia.

The 27-year-old Chipping Norton native, who became a fan favourite for his quick wit, blunt honesty, and banter with Jeremy Clarkson, was thrown a surprise farewell party before heading off to the other side of the world. The celebration was held in his hometown, where Kaleb first made a name for himself as the fiery young contractor who often found himself schooling Clarkson on the realities of modern farming.

Kaleb first shot to fame in 2021 when Clarkson’s Farm premiered on Prime Video, instantly capturing the hearts of viewers with his no-nonsense attitude and love of the land. Since then, he’s appeared in every season of the show, becoming not only Clarkson’s right-hand man but also a symbol of the next generation of British farmers. His growing fame has led to tours, books, and now, a new international venture with Kaleb: Down Under, which promises to follow him as he explores the challenges and wonders of agriculture across Australia.

The send-off party was shared online by fellow farmer and influencer Ioan Humphreys, better known as That Welsh Farmer. He posted a cheerful photo of the pair posing together with an inflatable crocodile, both wearing Australian outback-style hats and surrounded by decorations featuring the country’s flag. The festive, tongue-in-cheek atmosphere perfectly captured Kaleb’s down-to-earth personality and the affection his friends and colleagues have for him.

In his Instagram caption, Humphreys wrote:

“Quick little trip down to the city of Chipping Norton to give the king of the Cotswolds a surprise send-off to Australia. Great evening with food, beer and great people. Kaleb, good luck on your next adventure, princess. Don’t eat yellow snow or crocodile; they both taste awful. I’m sure you’re going to smash it!”

The event comes just weeks after Kaleb and his partner Taya celebrated the birth of their third child, a baby boy named Ashton, joining older siblings Willa and Finley. Despite juggling family life and fame, Kaleb has continued to remain deeply connected to his roots, often reminding fans that he’s happiest when behind the wheel of a tractor or tending to his land in the Cotswolds.

While Kaleb: Down Under will showcase him tackling vast Australian farms and meeting local producers, Kaleb isn’t stepping away from his role at Diddly Squat Farm for good. He’s still expected to play a major part in Clarkson’s Farm Season 5, which recently wrapped filming at Jeremy Clarkson’s Oxfordshire property. Fans can look forward to seeing how his international experiences influence his work back home — and, undoubtedly, how much teasing he’ll receive from Clarkson upon his return.

With his trademark humour and fearless approach, Kaleb’s next chapter promises to be as entertaining as ever. Whether he’s wrangling cattle in the outback or navigating the chaos of Diddly Squat, one thing’s for certain — the “King of the Cotswolds” is about to make Australia his new playground.
