Harriet Cowan, the rising star of Clarkson’s Farm, turned heads with an unexpected fashion choice.
Jeremy Clarkson’s newest addition to his Diddly Squat team, Harriet Cowan, was barely recognisable as she traded her farming attire for a pair of tiny shorts while posing for a selfie on Tuesday, June 4. The 24-year-old has won herself a legion of new fans thanks to her memorable appearances on the latest series of the Amazon Prime show that goes behind the scenes of Clarkson’s Farm.
Although the young farmer had no problem getting down and dirty on the show while dressed in overalls, it appears outside of work, she is embracing a more fashion-forward look. Harriet paired the tiny white denim shorts with a trendy striped shirt and completed the look with a brown leather belt from upmarket English brand Holland Cooper.
It comes as she recently shared nostalgic snaps of a sun-soaked holiday on Instagram, where she was glamming up for an evening out, and inflating a pink lilo for some poolside amusement. Other stylish ensembles included a breezy summer dress, a white crop top, and lilac sliders ideal for lounging by the pool.
And fans of Harriet will be pleased to know that with years of farming expertise under her belt, thanks to her father’s guidance since childhood, Harriet has secured her place in the fourth series of Clarkson’s Farm.
She’s now being tipped to take over from fan favourite Kaleb Cooper at Diddly Squat Farm. Unlike Kaleb, who often remains near Chipping Norton, Harriet is no stranger to adventure and when she is not labouring on the farm, she enjoys dressing up for enjoyable nights out with her friends and partner, as well as fellow farmer James.
During her university days, the former student balanced her nursing studies with work on her family’s farm in Swindon, Wiltshire.
At the young age of 23, Harriet had already achieved a degree, purchased her own property and was making a name for herself in the agricultural sector. This farm worker, originally from Derbyshire, also enjoys a substantial following on social media, particularly on her TikTok account @harrietcowan3, which has garnered over 37,000 followers.
Audiences have also lauded Harriet’s comprehensive knowledge of the industry and are hopeful that she will represent the younger generation working within it well.
Harriet has previously acted as the representative for Belper’s Young Farmers and catapulted to internet stardom during the pandemic when one of her videos went viral. She put a unique spin on the toilet roll challenge, becoming an online hit.
Instead of the usual loo roll pass around, the group ingeniously decided to throw a loaf of bread to each other while carrying out their farming tasks, aiming to lift the spirits of NHS workers.
