Jeremy Clarkson addresses Clarkson’s Farm future as cancellation fears mount

Jeremy Clarkson has dropped a major update on the future of Clarkson’s Farm, putting to rest any doubts fans had about the show’s continuation. Initially, Clarkson had hinted that filming would conclude after season five, leaving many to wonder if there would be any more episodes after that. However, in a recent interview with The Sun, the 65-year-old TV personality and former Top Gear host confirmed that the series will continue for at least one more season, and possibly even two.
Clarkson shared his excitement about returning for a sixth season, stating, “We’ll definitely do six – Amazon want to [do series six] and I want to. I’ve got a good idea for six.” He further added, “I said I’ll stop doing them when there are no more ideas. But I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six and then we’ll see.” This revelation marks a major relief for the show’s loyal viewers, who feared that season five might be the last.
Despite the good news, Clarkson hinted that there might be a longer-than-usual break between seasons. The reason for this is the fact that Kaleb Cooper, Clarkson’s right-hand man and farm manager, has been away on tour in Australia. Clarkson himself has also expressed a desire for a holiday, as he admitted that the demanding nature of farming hasn’t allowed him to take a proper break in a long time. “We’ve never had a rest. We wrap a series and immediately start again because farming doesn’t stop,” Clarkson explained. “You harvest and you immediately start drilling for the next year. But this time, Kaleb’s gone off to Australia… I really wanted to have a holiday because I haven’t had one in ages.”
Season five of Clarkson’s Farm is expected to hit screens in late spring 2026, though an exact release date has not yet been confirmed. Clarkson revealed that filming for the new season wrapped up in late 2025, and the Amazon Prime series will once again feature the familiar faces that have become fan favorites. In addition to Clarkson, the cast includes his girlfriend Lisa Hogan, who manages the farm shop, Kaleb Cooper, the farm manager, “Cheerful” Charlie Ireland, the farming consultant, and construction expert Gerald Cooper.
Fans were also introduced to Harriet Cowan in the fourth season, a nurse and farmer who stepped in to help out at Diddly Squat while Kaleb was touring. Her return for the fifth season remains uncertain, but her role in season four proved to be a notable addition to the dynamic.

The upcoming seasons of Clarkson’s Farm are expected to tackle more of the challenges Clarkson faces on the farm, including the ongoing struggle with bovine tuberculosis, the complexities of farm management, and, of course, the rollercoaster journey of running the Diddly Squat pub. Clarkson has made it clear that while farming comes with plenty of hardships, he’s committed to sharing the trials and triumphs of his farming journey with his viewers, as long as the ideas keep flowing.
With the confirmation of a new season and potential for even more beyond that, Clarkson’s Farm fans can rest easy knowing they’ll be able to follow Clarkson, Kaleb, and the rest of the crew as they continue their unpredictable adventures on the farm.
