Jeremy Clarkson announces tragic death on Clarkson’s Farm in Diddly Squat update

Clarkson’s Farm star Jeremy Clarkson shared bittersweet news from Diddly Squat as his farm becomes TB-free after seven months but must put down a donkey with laminitis

Jeremy Clarkson spoke about the future of his Diddly Squat farm following news of a tuberculosis (TB) outbreak on his property. The Clarkson’s Farm star, 65, revealed he was “absolutely devastated” when he disclosed his farm was battling problems last summer.

In an encouraging development, the former Top Gear host confirmed that his Oxfordshire farm is now TB-free for the first time in seven months. Tuberculosis (TB) is a severe, infectious illness that impacts both humans and animals, chiefly triggered by bacteria. Whilst M.tuberculosis predominantly affects people, M. bovis leads to bovine TB in cattle and wildlife, according to the government website.

It typically targets the lungs and can result in lesions and weight loss, reports the Express. Jeremy outlined everything in his most recent column but subsequently shared a distressing announcement. Writing in The Sun, he stated: “After seven months of lockdown, Diddly Squat farm became officially TB-free this week.”

However, despite the positive news he faced a crushing blow.

Jeremy went on: “But before we had a chance to celebrate, we found out that one of our donkeys has laminitis and must be put down.

“In farming, it seems you are allowed one bit of good news, but it must always be accompanied by some kind of disaster.”

The devastating update arrives just two weeks after Jeremy welcomed a new donkey to his farm.

It remains uncertain whether it is his newest donkey which has been struck by the condition. Jeremy is presently busy filming the newest series of Clarkson’s Farm, much to the delight of viewers.
