Jeremy Clarkson breaks silence after AI video of him punching Keir Starmer sparks outrage

Jeremy Clarkson has distanced himself from a fan account that shared an AI-generated video depicting him physically attacking the Prime Minister.

The former Top Gear presenter responded after the clip, which showed him throwing punches at Keir Starmer, provoked widespread criticism on social media.

When Labour MP Chris Bryant urged the account to remove the footage, Mr Clarkson made clear he had no connection to those responsible.

“That site is a menace. And they’ve blocked me,” he wrote on X.

The account, which operates under the Clarkson’s Farm branding, had posted the violent deepfake earlier today, prompting calls from journalists and politicians alike for its immediate deletion.

The fabricated footage depicted Mr Clarkson forcibly removing the Prime Minister from his Oxfordshire establishment, The Farmer’s Dog, before hurling him to the ground in front of a crowd of onlookers who appeared to cheer the confrontation.

In the clip, the Clarkson’s Farm presenter can be heard shouting “No, no, no!” as he ejects Starmer from the premises.

The video then showed the pair engaged in a brawl outside the pub, with Mr Clarkson landing two heavy blows that sent the PM crashing to the pavement.

The fan account shared the content with the caption: “Ok. Maybe AI isn’t all bad.”

Journalist and broadcaster Sangita Myska was among those condemning the post, writing: “Please delete this video. It’s wrong to degrade Keir Starmer – or anyone – like this.”

Mr Bryant’s intervention came with a stark reminder of the dangers facing elected representatives, noting that two of his parliamentary colleagues had been killed during his time as an MP.

“Come on @ClarksonsFarm1 take it down. I’m all for freedom of speech but not inciting or glorifying violence. And two of my colleagues have been murdered in my time as an MP,” the Labour MP wrote on X.

Other users on the platform echoed Mr Bryant’s concerns, with one describing the content as “embarrassing” and “childish,” while another simply urged: “Please take it down.”

Several commenters also pointed out that the account bore no official connection to Mr Clarkson, despite using branding associated with his Amazon Prime farming series.

Mr Clarkson’s animosity towards the Prime Minister is well documented, with the presenter having previously announced that Mr Starmer was barred from drinking at his Cotswolds pub.

The television personality has also been vocal in his criticism of the government’s handling of military affairs.

In a recent column for The Sun, headlined “Keir Is Bit Two Stupid,” Mr Clarkson attacked the PM over Britain’s inability to deploy its aircraft carriers during the conflict in Iran.

Both HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales are currently undergoing maintenance work, with the former in Rosyth and the latter in Portsmouth.

Mr Clarkson wrote that despite the enormous cost of building the vessels, “when we actually need them, they’re both at the menders.”
