Tickets from as little as £30 are still available for Jeremy Clarkson’s farming festival taking place just outside Coventry this weekend.
The Great British Farm-Fest promises to be the ultimate celebration of farming, food and live music.
Making its debut at Stoneleigh Park near Coventry, the event will feature beloved farming personalities from Clarkson’s Farm, including Kaleb Cooper, Lisa Hogan and Charlie Ireland, who will trade their usual agricultural duties for centre stage appearances.
The action includes The Field to Fork area which will welcome some of the UK’s most exciting culinary stars, including TV favourite Matt Tebbutt, Michelin star chef Jason Atherton, up and coming powerhouse Louisa Ellis, acclaimed international chef Romy Gill and Andrew Pern, as well as Mike Wilkins, star of The Great British Farm-Fest, who will showcase their expertise in a series of demonstrations.
But the entertainment doesn’t stop at food. The Hawkstone Music Arena – named after Clarkson’s beer brand – will showcase performances from artists including Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Groove Armada, Blur’s Alex James, Sara Cox and Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson.
Taking place between Friday 22 and Sunday 24 May at NAEC Stoneleigh, the three-day Festival will showcase standout food from across the UK with farmers markets, chef demos, firepits feasts and pop-up pubs. Big names already confirmed to attend, include Jeremy Clarkson’s The Farmer’s Dog, cult favourites The Beefy Boys and Diddly Squat Farm Shop, as well as many others.
Friday: The Launch Night
The festival kicks off with the Young Farmer DJ Battle, hosted by Capital Radio’s Chris Stark, where the UK’s top agricultural deck-spinners will compete for glory. The Hot House Flowers and the rock-and-roll energy of Rick Parfitt Jnr will follow, before the night reaches a fever pitch with the legendary Groove Armada (DJ Set). Closing the first night in style, the ‘Queen of the Kitchen Disco’ herself, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, will bring her shimmering pop anthems to the heart of the countryside.
Saturday: The All Star Farm Party
Saturday shifts gears into a feel-good celebration of British music. The country vibes come courtesy of the record-breaking duo The Shires. The arena will also turn into a giant sing along session with two high-energy DJ sets. Sara Cox will present her Power Wower set of festival bangers while Chris Moyles delivers his signature high-energy 90s DJ set.
The nostalgic atmosphere continues with the definitive tribute act Noasis, before Massaoke, takes the stage with a setlist of singalong hits.
Sunday: Non-Stop British Classics
The festiva will close on the final day with a tribute to British music history. Festivalgoers can expect a trip down memory lane with the timeless hits of 10cc and the soulful country sounds of One Night in Nashville before the weekend reaches its grand finale with two massive performances.
The event marks the inaugural public performance of Ricky Wilson Presents the Fabulous Adjustable Band. Led by the Kaiser Chiefs frontman, the supergroup will feature a revolving door of high-profile musicians. Finally, Blur’s Alex James’ Britpop Classical will close the festival with a reimagination of the greatest hits of the 90s.
