Jeremy Clarkson gives update on Clarkson’s Farm series five

Jeremy Clarkson has given a new update on Clarkson’s Farm series five.

The former Top Gear and Grand Tour host initially bought Diddly Squat Farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire in 2008.

The first series of Clarkson’s Farm was released on Prime Video in 2021, showcasing life on the Cotswolds farm.

Mr Clarkson found great success, with the show being greatly received and watched across the world.

This has led to a tourism spike at both the Diddly Squat Farm Shop as well as the 65-year-old’s Asthall pub, The Farmer’s Dog, which opened last year.

Two further series had been released before a fourth started last month with eight new episodes coming out across May and June.

This latest season focused on the setting up of the Cotswolds boozer after Mr Clarkson purchased the spot for about £1m.

With the conclusion of series four, fans are already wondering when they can see the gang on screens again.

Mr Clarkson revealed late last year that Clarkson’s Farm had been confirmed for a fifth series, much to fans’ excitement.

The presenter has now given a further update, with the crew having started filming months ago.

On social media site X, one user said: “Well that was an emotional rollercoaster!

“I’m happy because I’ve just watched the end of Clarkson’s Farm series four… and it will be rewatched many, many times… probably from series one again.

“I’m sad because now I’m waiting for Clarkson’s Farm series five!”

Mr Clarkson responded: “And we are well into it already.”

It is expected that the series will be released at some point next year, following the same pattern as series three and four.
