Jeremy Clarkson has opened up about having the “most uplifting day” following an emotional reunion with some special four-legged friends in the Cotswolds.
The renowned TV host, famous for his high-octane adventures with James May and Richard Hammond on BBC’s Top Gear and The Grand Tour on Prime Video, has found a new fan base for his farming exploits, thanks to the runaway success of Clarkson’s Farm.
The Prime Video show, which has aired four seasons to date, follows Clarkson’s life at his farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire, known as Diddly Squat, where he navigates the trials and tribulations of becoming a farmer later in life. However, last July, Clarkson found himself caught up in a different kind of action when his dog Arya gave birth to a litter of 11 puppies. While most of the pups found homes with new families, Clarkson and his girlfriend, Lisa Hogan, decided to keep one for themselves, naming her Margaery.
Recently, Clarkson shared a heartwarming update about a reunion of Arya’s puppies. Six of the dogs, along with their new owners, gathered for a walk around The Lakes by Yoo, a luxury retreat in the Cotswolds. Clarkson posted a video of the event on his Instagram, recalling, “Six of Arya’s puppies met up today for a walk at Lakes by Yoo, and afterwards we all had a pint. It was one of the most uplifting days I can remember. Dogs are just the best things on earth.”
The reunion seemed to bring immense joy to Clarkson, and it’s clear that his bond with Arya’s pups remains strong. For fans of Clarkson’s Farm, the emotional moment adds another layer to Clarkson’s life outside of the farm, showing his softer side.
In other news, Clarkson’s Farm will return for a highly anticipated fifth series later this year. The new episodes are set to drop on Prime Video in the spring, with filming for the latest season officially wrapped back in September. Fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the farm, as Clarkson continues his unpredictable farming journey.
