clarkson's farm

Jeremy Clarkson has hinted at the continuation of Clarkson’s Farm, teasing two more series of the highly successful Amazon show.

The 65-year-old broadcaster and former Top Gear presenter first ventured into farming in 2019, purchasing 1,000 acres of land in the picturesque villages of Chadlington and Chipping Norton, which had previously been left dormant for years. Clarkson’s decision to take on farming, an industry he had little experience with, became the premise for Clarkson’s Farm, which soon captured the attention of millions worldwide.

Since its debut, the show has become a global hit, attracting an ever-growing fanbase, and its fifth series is set to air in May 2026. The show’s appeal stems from its combination of Clarkson’s unfiltered commentary on farming, his unique character, and the often comical missteps that come with his lack of agricultural experience.

Despite Clarkson’s Farm‘s success, earlier reports suggested that series five might mark the end of the show, especially following an extended break in filming. However, Clarkson has now hinted that there’s much more in store for fans of the farming reality series.

Speaking to The Sun, Clarkson addressed the uncertainty, revealing that series six is already in the works and might begin filming soon.

“We’ll definitely do six – Amazon want to do series six, and I want to,” Clarkson confirmed. “I’ve got a good idea for six, and I said I’ll stop doing them when there are no more ideas. But I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six, and then we’ll see…”

The comments signal a strong commitment to the show’s future, despite prior speculation that series five could be the last. Clarkson’s declaration that he’s still brimming with ideas for the series suggests that Clarkson’s Farm is far from running out of steam.

In his chat with The Sun, Clarkson also touched on the break the production team took from filming after the last series. He explained that farming is a year-round operation, with no real opportunity to pause once one season ends and another begins.

“We’ve never had a rest. We wrap a series and immediately start again because farming doesn’t stop. You harvest, and you immediately start drilling for the next year,” Clarkson said, describing the relentless pace of life on the farm.

However, this time, circumstances led to an unexpected break. Clarkson explained that Kaleb Cooper, one of the show’s breakout stars, had flown to Australia to film another project, and Clarkson himself had been busy working on **Millionaire Hot Seat coincided with unusual weather conditions in Chipping Norton, where snowfall had been falling heavily for the past week, with more predicted over the coming days. The winter weather may provide the perfect backdrop for the filming to restart, keeping with the farm’s year-round schedule.

Beyond series six, the future of Clarkson’s Farm seems open-ended. In fact, there are even rumors that a seventh series could be on the horizon, which would further extend the show’s successful run. This is a testament to the programme’s enduring popularity and Clarkson’s personal passion for the project, despite the heavy workload it entails.

With Clarkson’s ongoing commitment to the show, and the continued interest from his fans, it seems Clarkson’s Farm is set to continue bringing viewers along on his unpredictable farming journey for the foreseeable future.
