Jeremy Clarkson Hints at Two More Seasons of Clarkson’s Farm, Teases Exciting Future for the Show
Jeremy Clarkson, the 65-year-old former Top Gear and Grand Tour host, has dropped some thrilling news about the future of his hit Amazon series Clarkson’s Farm. Since taking on the challenge of farming in 2019 after purchasing 1,000 acres in the Oxfordshire villages of Chadlington and Chipping Norton, Clarkson’s foray into agriculture has captivated millions of viewers around the globe. The series has amassed a massive fanbase, thanks to its unique blend of Clarkson’s signature humor and his often disastrous attempts at farming.
The fifth series of Clarkson’s Farm is set to air in May, but Clarkson has hinted that the series will go beyond that, teasing not one but two more seasons. In a conversation with The Sun, the outspoken journalist confirmed that filming for season six could be happening soon. Previously, there were rumors that season five might mark the end of the show, especially after the crew took an extended break from filming. However, Clarkson quickly squashed those rumors, revealing that Amazon and himself are both eager to continue.
“I’ve got a good idea for season six,” Clarkson shared with The Sun, “and I said I’ll stop doing them when there are no more ideas.” But it seems that’s not the case, as he teased, “I’ve got two quite good ones, so we’ll do six and then we’ll see…” It appears that the Clarkson’s Farm team is far from running out of steam, and with more fresh ideas in the pipeline, fans can expect even more of Clarkson’s chaotic farming adventures.
While filming for the next season may not have started yet, Clarkson is excited about what lies ahead. In fact, he mentioned that snow in the Cotswolds has delayed things a bit. “We’ve never had a rest; we wrap a series, and then immediately start again because farming doesn’t stop. You harvest, and you’re immediately starting to drill for the next year,” Clarkson explained. However, this time, the team took a break, with Kaleb Cooper filming in Australia and Clarkson focusing on his hosting role for Millionaire Hot Seat. “I really wanted to have a holiday because I haven’t had one in ages,” Clarkson admitted.
With snow falling in the Cotswolds, Clarkson said the team had decided to temporarily pause the filming until conditions were more favorable. “We just said, ‘Ok, well let’s just actually wrap it… and then I just said, ‘If it snows, we’ll start filming again,’” Clarkson revealed.
The excitement doesn’t end with season six, either. There’s even talk of a seventh season. With the fanbase growing steadily and Clarkson’s Farm continually breaking new ground in terms of humor and farming insights, Clarkson’s announcement has left fans eagerly awaiting what’s next. As one of the most beloved shows on Amazon, it’s clear that Clarkson’s Farm will continue to thrive for years to come.
As filming for season six looms, Clarkson’s Farm fans will no doubt be hoping for more of Clarkson’s signature antics, Kaleb’s expertise, and, of course, the hilarity that comes from watching Clarkson struggle to maintain a working farm. Whether it’s battling weather, machinery, or his own lack of farming knowledge, Clarkson’s Farm is set to stay a fan favorite, with even more drama, laughs, and heartwarming moments ahead. With Clarkson’s own enthusiasm for the project, it looks like this is just the beginning for the farm in the heart of the Cotswolds.
